5 star food safety at Beccles and Potton View

The kitchen teams at Beccles and Potton View have received 5 stars in their recent inspections by the local Food Safety teams.

For Mark Cruse-Jungling at Potton, it was a baptism of fire as he only started work at the care home in March of this year. Mark and his kitchen team passed the inspection with flying colours and were awarded the highest rating – a 5 star food safety certificate.

Meanwhile at Beccles, Sandra and the team also pulled out all the stops to achieve the highest score possible.

Gaining a 5 star isn't easy. The inspection is thorough – they look at kitchen cleanliness, how we store our food, food preparation areas and lots more. All of this means we provide our residents with fresh, healthy and nutritious food, catering for all sorts of different dietary needs, and our meals are an important element of living in a care home.
