We are so happy with The Grove, all the staff shows so much care and patience, they know what time of day she becomes really agitated and are there to support her through it. If there are any concerns we are contacted and kept informed. She is encouraged to leave her room and join in with the different
activities that are provided, it is lovely to see her participating. She really loves it when children and animals come in for a visit, it puts a smile on her face and lifts her spirits.

From the leadership onsite to the care givers and ancillary staff at the home, I can not fault the loving care and kindness that my mother is continuing to receive. Communication and respectful care are key factors in the ongoing care cycle and this home manages that very well. This communication
and kindness extends to me and a welcoming greeting makes all the difference to my visits. Thank you.

You never get a second chance to make a good first impression. My first impression was that The Haven was a welcoming, well run establishment. My wife demonstrated the worst of her dementia, and the staff suspected perhaps the present UTI. An ambulance was called, and Jennifer was sent to A&E.
Under
the worst of conditions, the staff reacted with great professionalism and compassion. All was well done, and the whole team are a credit to your organisation.
Reply from Richard Lain-Smith, Head of Marketing and Social Media at The HavenThank you for taking the time to share your positive thoughts about the care and support provided to your wife at The Haven. We will pass your thoughts on to the team at the home.

My mum has lived at Potton View for 6 months now and I am grateful for the care, kindness, and professionalism shown by everyone at the home. Moving into care was a big step for her - she relocated from quite a distance to be closer me and her family after a prolonged and frightening period of ill health
which meant she could no longer live on her own. It meant leaving behind her friends and long-established support network and naturally it was a difficult and stressful time for her, but the staff have gone above and beyond to help her settle in and feel at home. From the very beginning, they made a real effort to get to know her as a person - her preferences, and her personality - which has been reassuring and helped her get accustomed to her new surroundings. It's been great to see her form new friendships with both residents and staff. She loves her room, is very comfortable there and the general environment always feels homely.
Reply from Ria Odgers, Regional Manager at Potton ViewThank you for your kind comments we are happy that mum has settled in well . I will ensure that your kind comments are past onto to the staff at Potton View .

My mother has been at Laurel Lodge for a little over a year. She was slow to settle initially but now seems perfectly content. Laurel Lodge is a comfortable home with friendly, cheerful and caring staff (who were particularly supportive to Mum following my father's death in early January).
All the
staff seem happy in their working environment and there is a good team spirit. You feel welcome when you visit. The home generally and Mum's room in particular is always clean and tidy. Her clothes are always well laundered and she enjoys the food.
Mum enjoys most of the activities available and staff work hard to stimulate the residents. Staff also make a point of celebrating special days including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and St Patrick's Day as well as doing their best to make occasions like Easter and Christmas special for the residents.
It is very reassuring to know that Mum is safe and being well looked after.
Reply from Richard Lain-Smith, Head of Marketing and Social Media at Laurel LodgeThank you for this lovely review of the care your mum is receiving at Laurel Lodge. So many lovely compliments, which we will pass on to the staff.

My parents both needed to move into care. On arrival the staff were welcoming and very friendly helping to settle them into a new and different environment. The food choices are excellent and the high standards of care given has enabled both parents to look and feel so much improved. There are a variety
of activity for social and entertainment. Although it is early days since my parents arrival. I feel very confident and reassured they are receiving safe and compassionate care.

We have been so pleased with the care Dad received at Maitland House. Every aspect of the care we hoped for was provided and more. Dad quickly settled, thanks to the family atmosphere, amazing carers and professionally organised home. It was so heart warming to see how Dad's comfort and wellbeing were
so important to every member of staff and to see that he was valued as a member of the Maitland family. Dad has now sadly passed, but his passing was managed with such care and dignity and with such kind support for us, for which we will always be so grateful.

Mum came to Spring Lodge when she was no longer safe at home. The experience of putting her into a home was an emotional one for both of us. The manager has excellent rapport with residents and relatives and I feel assured that mum is cared for with kindness and dignity. I visit most days and observe
much kindness and care for residents from staff. The home is warm, very clean and comfortable. All staff are caring and friendly, they engage with residents and reassure them. The meals are cooked on the premises and of good quality, home made cakes appears every day at tea time. There are some activities bingo, dominos and crafts. The Christmas party was lovely. Health issues are quickly addressed and I am informed of all changes.

My brother in law moved into Taverham Grove on the day it opened. He settled in immediately. His room is lovely and bright and comfortable. It is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and caring. I have always felt very welcome whenever I visit. My brother in law looks very relaxed and well.
He has advanced dementia and is provided with wooden 'fiddle' puzzle to keep his mind as calm as possible. I am delighted with his care.
