Originally a large Victorian building, Chiswick House has been adapted into a homely and welcoming care home with a grand entrance hall, dining room and friendly communal areas. The home's 32 comfortable bedrooms are situated around the home, with most benefiting from en-suite bathrooms. There is also a hair salon and adapted bathrooms. A bright conservatory overlooks the home's well-presented garden which are surrounded by trees. The home has recently underdone an extension to create 6 new bedrooms with ensuite facilities and an enlarged kitchen area.
Residents enjoy a full activities programme at the home. There are regular trips out to the local area, including visits to local cafes, parks, shops and the historic sites in Norwich city centre.
Weekly fees include personal care, all food and drinks, activities and entertainment.

It is impossible to express how lucky and grateful we feel that mum was in the care of the staff at Chiswick House in the last month of her life. It was very hard to hand over the care to other people but on meeting the staff we felt we had found an extension of our family and we knew mum was in very safe, capable and loving hands. Everyone treated mum with dignity and respect, she felt safe and secure. We couldn't have asked for more and thank the staff from the bottom of our hearts.

My mum reluctantly had to find a place in care, march 2025, we looked at several homes around Norwich. Chiswick house felt like a real 'home' from the moment we went in. Staff were lovely and we knew mum would like it. The staff have taken every step to settle mum in, she loves the food and her gluten free diet has been catered for. The activities, run by Kate, and daily fitness class are great and keep mum active. Great staff that work as a team and lead very well by Mariana.

A great care home. Lovely staff, well run. Great food. Lovely activities. If you are considering a care home for a relative, don't hesitate in choosing this one. We looked at several in the area, large soulless ones which looked great but seemed empty. However chiswick house was our choice as it feels more homely. Rooms are kept clean, issues are resolved, staff are lovely and genuinely care. We visit 3/4 times a week so see the care home operating throughout the week. A great care home. My mum is very happy at Chiswick House. The rooms are very clean and the food good. There are a lot of great activities which my mum really enjoys. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are extremely caring. When I visit, I always feel welcomed as the staff are so friendly.

Mum lived very successfully, happily and contentedly at Chiswick House Care Home for eight years until her end of life in February 2023. The end-of-life care that Mum received from the manager, deputy manager, all care staff and the dedicated end-of-life staff member was outstanding and exceptional. Mum was cared for so well right up to the end, with family members given time, food, drink, listening ears, compassion and inclusivity, enabling us to spend time with Mum and be with her every minute until she died. On behalf of my whole family, we will always be grateful to the wonderful team at Chiswick House for making Chiswick Mum's home, for welcoming us all (and our dogs) throughout the eight years, for giving Mum personal care throughout her life and end days. You could not have done any more and we all thank you very, very much.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the facilities are excellent and the care staff are always attentive and friendly. Residents are treated as individuals and their own preferences and needs are always taken careful note of.
