My father has been a resident for sixteen months and in that time has developed a very good rapport and relationship with the staff. He has been treated with dignity. The management at Potton View have been very communicative and helpful. They are always very responsive to our enquiries + more than happy to provide advise.

My father has been in Southwell Court for 18 months now. He settled very well and quickly due to the amazing care he receives. The staff are brilliant and look after all his needs. When we visit him we are made very welcome by the staff.

I felt very relieved when Dad got a place here. It felt right from the first visit to me. The staff are all amazing so kind and patient with him. There has only been Dad and me for so long and I am so glad for the extra support, they feel like family even though he's only be there a short while. Julie is always available for a chat to update me even on the must challenging days. Dad doesn't ask for much but everyone goes out of their way to cheer him up and encourage him. It's great that the staff are local as that helps with the readjustment as they know what is going on and can talk to him about it, a real personal touch. Food is wonderful. I know he's in the right place and would recommend the home to anyone. Thank you all so much.

Very good attentive staff & the facilities were excellent. staff very kind, lovely people who really looked after me. nothing was too much trouble.

I have been visiting a close friend at the care home the past few years. The staff are amazing and take such good care of the residents. Everything is so well organised and runs smoothly. Residents are treated with dignity and very kindly! The room and facilities are spotless and the food is excellent. My friend is happy here and feels at home. As I don't live in the UK, I'm very reassured to know my friend is in such good hands! The garden is also lovely. Thank you, Southwell Court!!

An excellent care home. Caring, patient, very helpful and understanding. Food is absolutely fantastic. A birthday cake is always beautifully made for residents. Activities are varied and plenty: always clean and well maintained. All staff seem genuinely happy and engaged with residents. Any questions are always answered. I feel very lucky my mum is there and I know she's being well cared for at all times. And the atmosphere and energy of the home is always positive. Happy.

My mum has lived at Potton View for 6 months now and I am grateful for the care, kindness, and professionalism shown by everyone at the home. Moving into care was a big step for her - she relocated from quite a distance to be closer me and her family after a prolonged and frightening period of ill health which meant she could no longer live on her own. It meant leaving behind her friends and long-established support network and naturally it was a difficult and stressful time for her, but the staff have gone above and beyond to help her settle in and feel at home. From the very beginning, they made a real effort to get to know her as a person - her preferences, and her personality - which has been reassuring and helped her get accustomed to her new surroundings. It's been great to see her form new friendships with both residents and staff. She loves her room, is very comfortable there and the general environment always feels homely.

My sister is very happy enjoys the food and entertainment has made some friends and the staff are very friendly and helpful generally all is good. Clean and tidy. Management helpful.

I stayed at The Gables home for the month of November. It was excellent. Food 10 star and care 10 star. I could not find one fault about anything. P.s I will return! Better than a 5 star hotel.

Mum came into The Gables for some respite care after having a fall and fracturing her arm. Neither of us had an idea about care homes, so were a little anxious of what it would be like. We initially met the manager who put us at ease, and mum moved in a couple of days later. She was so pleased - the staff throughout were excellent, they really looked after her every need. Food was excellent too - which is rate for mum to think that. Can't recommend The Gables any more highly - fantastic.

Lovely care home. Attentive staff. My grandfather seems well settled and actually enjoying this new experience. He rates the food and the availability 24/7. Thank you for looking after him.

Wow.=, super impressed, my first visit to Southwell Court, not what I expected, having not visited a care home for many years. So welcoming, efficient, the whole place was immaculate. Well done to all.

We feel so lucky we found the perfect home for our lovely mum at Potton View Care Home. The staff at PV have become our extended family - they go above and beyond to make sure Mum is comfortable and happy, and are so approachable and accommodating to us.

Our mum moved into Potton View just over two years ago and the wonderful staff there have cared for her like family right from the beginning. Mum's needs have been challenging at times but the carers take it in their stride and do all they can to reassure, distract and understand her individual needs. She has made true friends among the other residents and they make each other laugh and look out for each other. It is wonderful to see the love and support given to our lovely mum and to see her laugh and smile and call Potton View "home".

My mother in law has received excellent care since being in The Gables. The staff are all fantastic and the Manageress, Julie, has gone beyond our expectations in helping gain a place for her in the carehome. She is so well looked after, with plenty of activities arranged and I hear the food is lovely too! The carehome has a real "home from home" feel but with all the facilities needed to care for their residents. Thank you to everyone for all your care and attention.

Our dear dear friend was so wary of going into a home as he loved his own home and wanted to be there for all his life.. but! the inevitable happened and he was so sad etc, but! over two / three weeks the settling in began and the whole staff are second to none, always there, always helpful, kind and have huge smiles the same as the residents. The kitchen is always looking spotless even when the Chef is in cooking mode.. whole place is spotless, welcoming and not just for the residents.. it's got a warmth about it, and a calming that we can see why the residence seem happy & content. It is a happy home and there is always events or things for residents to do. It is an excellent home a perfect little haven for our dear friend to be spoilt and keep smiling with no worries. Delightful care home, great information, wonderful service, and kind understanding staff, chef and Management.
