We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care my mum receives at Valentine House. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed like family. The staff are simply amazing, so kind, compassionate and always going the extra mile to make sure she feels safe and happy.

What really

sets this place apart is the fantastic range of entertainment and activities they provide. Whether it's live music, craft sessions, or themed days, there's always something fu and engaging going on. It's great to see how much thought and effort goes into keeping everyone active, entertained and connected.

Thank you to every member of the team for making this home such a special place, you're all absolute amazing.

What an incredible day at the BBQ! From start to finish, it was filled with laughter, delicious food, and unforgettable memories. The energy was amazing - families coming together, kids running around with huge smiles, and the smell of perfectly grilled food in the air. There's something so special
about spending time outdoors with loved ones, soaking up the sun and enjoying the simple pleasures of great company and great food.

One of the best parts of the day was the variety of activities and events that brought everyone together. Whether it was the fun games for the kids, the live music, or the friendly competitions, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It's always heartwarming to see a community come alive like this - sharing stories, making new friends, and celebrating what really matters: connection.

Huge thanks to the organizers for putting together such a thoughtful and well-run event. These kinds of days remind us how important it is to slow down, be present, and celebrate.

I came over from Canada to visit my mother. My mother has been here since 2020. I have always been very satisfied with the care that she is receiving here. During my visit, the staff have been absolutely wonderful making me and my wife very welcome and knowing that my mother is safe and happy here at
The Lodge. All the staff are amazing and so kind to us and to mum. Thank you very much.

My mum has been in Valentine House just under a year, she wasn't best pleased that she unfortunately had to move to a care home but the manager and all staff had worked very hard with her to ensure she is comfortable and that she is well looked after. As a family we have seen a massive change in her
health and appearance she has never looked better or been healthier, nothing is never to much for any of the staff, everyone is very welcoming and always greeted with a smile.

I was invited to a Valentine's Tea Party at The Lodge yesterday. Mum and I had such a lovely time and it was so nice to see how much effort the staff had made to ensure both residents and visitors enjoyed themselves. What a thoughtful gesture to give all the lady residents a red rose and the gents some
biscuits. Mum is 101 now and I shall always treasure these happy times I spend with her, knowing she is content and so well looked after, thanks to the very caring staff at The Lodge.

Visiting my aunt, very happy to see how happy she is here and how lovely her room is with so many photos of family. We were greeted by one of the staff and taken to my aunt in the lounge and then brought into her room. We met the lovely head housekeeper who was friendly and charming. We are so reassured
that my aunt is receiving the best care and attention. Looking forward to visiting again.

My Dad has been at the care home for 2 weeks. They have been there for him and made him feel very welcome and he has settled and accepts this is his home. Not only have the staff been very kind and adapted to Dad's needs but the manager has also been involved with his care and needs, they have always
been there for up-dates and talk about anything and everything and Dad is always included and feels comfortable chatting and talking about things as well. Thank you. I would like to add that my dad is not keen on activities but always offered but make time for one-to-one chats that he loves.

This home is beautiful. The staff are kind and caring and I know my mum is safe there. I can sleep peacefully at night, knowing she is safe. Every member of staff is special, their hearts are kind, they always interact with my mum and the other residents. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The rooms are
clean and nothing is too much for the staff. The chef and kitchen staff are amazing, the activities lady is very informative and encourages residents to participate, only if they wish. My mum was traumatised in a previous home, so I cannot thank Spring Lodge for welcoming my mum and making her feel safe and loved.
Also, the gardens are lovely and we can take mum outside to enjoy the pretty flowers, trees and gardens. Thank you.
