Park House has been a big part of my life for more than 2 years now - my mother came here April 2023, and my dad joined her that November. The staff are like a second family - my 2 year old has grown-up here, and the staff were a great support to both me and my father when my mum died last year. I honestly
couldn't find a better place for my dad to be.

Everything is excellent. The food is really good, 5 star hotel rating, but even better. All the staff are brilliant, very friendly and I always get offered a cup of tea which is lovely, couldn't have wished for better. Thank you very much x

I thought this would be the best place for restbite for my husband for 1 week. Even though I thought the staff were very nice I had particularly asked for him to be taken out. My biggest disappointment was that the staff misled me by telling me that my husband was taken out twice. They told me he went
to the seafront and had coffee, my husband said that he was never asked if he wanted to go out. He stayed in the conservatory and did some activities. On one occasion he was found in his room and had a fall.

My mum moved to Park House in April as she wasn't able to return home after her stroke in February. I live overseas and when I went to visit mum in Park House, I could not have been more impressed.


The staff are very caring and loving and every person residing there is important to them. The politeness,

the friendliness and attention is one hundred percent perfect, not only to the residents but also to the family & friends visiting. Nothing is too much trouble.


Unfortunately my mother is now on 'End of life' care which is very sad but the staff still continue to go above & beyond with their caring natures. They all are a credit to Park House.


I'm so lucky that my mother chose Park House for her lasts months of her life.

Mum is really happy at Park House. She has made friends and gets on very well with all the staff.
They like her too.
She enjoys the singing and trips to events, especially the Remembrance Day service and summer fireworks.

Absolutely fantastic staff, so kind and helpful. Witness an incident recently and they reacted perfectly to it and saved the gentleman's life. I have no issues with any of the staff here at all and feel confident my mum is in really good hands.

Due to my wife's serious dementia, she can be difficult to deal with sometimes but the staff at Park House are very good at calming her down and reassuring her.
At one time a few months ago there was talk of moving her to another home more appropriate for her condition, anyhow she was loved to a quieter
room upstairs and I am glad she remains at Park House.

Putting my mum into a care home was something I thought I'd never do as she's been permanently living with us for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated and she has now been placed into this beautiful home. The Park House is truly lovely, the staff are so kind, warm, overall amazing,
can't do enough to make her feel more at home. She now has company as living at ours and with myself working I realise how lonely and long her days must have been. She's literally ten minutes away from us now so all my time I spend with her is quality rather than constant caring for her I feel we lost our mother-daughter relationship due to the stress of trying to balance working and caring for her. I truly believe it's a team of good people who truly care that makes this home so beautiful. Thank you all, not only have you made Mum's life so much better and warmer as our house was freezing and she's loving the heat you have made me realise there are good homes out there. Thank you all.

Grandad has been at Park House for 2 years. I have always found the staff to treat him with dignity and kindness, even during some tricky times when grandad has experienced some challenging behaviour. They have shown understanding that grandad cannot be held accountable for his behaviour and appropriately
sought outside help. The food is very good. I like that they ask grandad in person what he would like. I am impressed at how clean and fresh grandad and his room look on every visit. Grandad is happy and well cared for so I am happy too.

I have felt very safe and welcomed into the group. All the staff are very kind and helpful. I enjoy the food, the entertainment and sitting outside when I can. The activities were good at times but there are less now that I can do due to my failing eyesight.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and will always do anything to make you smile. Since our friend has been at this care home, he has become extremely happy and is definitely a changed person. If I could, I would definitely live in a care home like this when I reach that age.
