My husband was in for respite for 2 weeks.
His experience was lovely.
He's not the most accommodating person but settled in after a few days.
He has a very good appetite and was given extra portions.
On the whole, I was satisfied with his care and aftercare as we are welcome to pop in any time for
a cuppa.

My dear friend has been in the care home for just over a week now, he is happy and content and he wants to stay permanently. The staff are marvellous, always there when needed and nothing is too much trouble for them. I have on occasion been here at meal times and am impressed by the meals given to
patients. The whole home is spotlessly clean, it's such a welcoming care home, and this home is one amazing place.

We have been to visit today and yesterday, I'm very impressed with the staff and the high standard of this care home. Well presented and very clean and tidy. Residents all seemed really happy and enjoying their lunch meals. My father-in-law was made to feel very welcome by all the staff even the chef
came to say hello. He had a jacket potato with cheese and beans. Both of our meals were to a very high standard. (My father-in-law has come in for a rest and hopefully staying).

As the son of a resident at this exceptional care home, I am delighted to share my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding care my dad receives here. From the very beginning (23/05), we have been impressed by the friendly and attentive staff, who go above and beyond to ensure that every need is met.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and their dedication is truly remarkable. The care home itself is immaculate, with a level of cleanliness that rivals any quality hotel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a place where residents can feel truly at home while enjoying the comforts and services of a top-quality establishment.
My dad's happiness and well-being have significantly improved since he moved here, and I couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful care and support he receives. A very happy home with kind, caring staff who treat all the residents with respect and dignity, as if they were family members. Mum has called Park House her home for six years and is very happy and contented. She says 'tick excellent for every box'.

My sister has been a temporary resident of Park House for the last three months. We have been impressed with the genuine kind and caring attitude of the staff and manager. The home is regularly visited by regional management of Black Swan, who appear to ensure high standards are maintained. The facilities
are modern yet homely, in a well-adapted historic building. Cleaning is good, with the home always looking clean and smelling fresh. Maintenance is to a high standard, with regular fire alarm and fire door safety testing. Water temperatures in the residents' rooms are also regularly checked, and resident's views are listened to regarding radiator temperature. As a visitor, I have always been warmly welcomed and treated well. I have often seen staff showing considerable kindness and care to other residents. My sister has found the food to be generally good quality, with breakfast and lunch particularly enjoyable.

Well treated by staff and carers. The food is very good and cooked very well. We do not want for anything. The room is kept very clean by cleaners. We are taken out to shops if needed. The staff work very well together.

I have been really impressed with this care home since my dad moved here in May/June 2023 and the worry of Dad having to be moved from home has been alleviated so much! The staff are caring and attentive, the other residents are kind and engaging and the environment as a whole is welcoming and clean.
For us as a family, the location of this care home is ideal as we can regularly visit Dad and take him for outings to places that he is familiar with. Moving Dad to a care home was a very difficult decision to come to but we know that he is cared for to the highest standard here and it is the next best thing to being in his own home with all his family around him. Thank you to all the staff that look after Dad and are so welcoming and patient with us when we visit. And also to all the caterers that produce a good variety of food to a high standard and to those involved in maintaining the home and providing the entertainment and activities that are invaluable for the residents.

A wonderful care home whose staff always look after Dad with immense care and he is always treated with respect and dignity. All of the staff are wonderful always friendly, happy to see you, helpful and always have time for you. The home is always very clean and very well kept and although Dad doesn't
really eat much, the food always smells and looks delicious.

Most of the staff are great. However, there are a couple of staff members who would benefit by a bit more training.
There is one in particular who really needs to be trained on how to conduct himself in a professional manner, for example, when family members are clearing a room after a relative has
died. If he can’t manage to show the slightest sign of respect or professionalism, he should stay out of their way, not hung around making stupid comments. He needs to understand that respect and professionalism is part of his job.
The manager is lovely. She would spend time talking to my husband and when he said he wouldn’t get out of bed, not only did she get him to get out of bed, she also got him to go out and around town with her.
She was really kind leading up to and after he died.
The manager runs Park House really well, but unfortunately when she’s away things don’t run very well at all. Things are said and done that wouldn’t have been if she was there.

My mother was in Park House for 4 years till she passed away, the care she received was fantastic through Covid and lockdowns the staff were brilliant. It was her home and we are so grateful for the care she was given in all that time. To the manager and all the staff, everyone played their part in
making my mother's life the best they possibly could. It is, without doubt, one of the best homes I have seen. Once again thank you to every staff member who works there, we will never forget all of you. And to anyone thinking of housing their loved ones in Park House, I would definitely recommend this wonderful home. Thank you.

My dad has been a resident of Park House for 7 months now. He is very happy there now, although he took a while to settle in. The staff are all very kind and caring, although dad does have his favourites. His room is warm and comfortable and very spacious. The food is good, but there are certain things
that he misses that my mum used to make.

Kind and caring staff, it has been difficult for everyone over the last 2 years but overall, life for the residents has carried on as normal. Now we are able to visit more often with fewer restrictions. Overall a good caring home.
