Barton Lodge, an award-winning care home in Barton-on-Sea, proudly welcomed guests to a special open day in March, marking the unveiling of its luxurious renovation, including new dedicated dementia and residential spaces.

The special event, attended by New Milton Town Mayor and Chairman of New Milton Town Council, Cllr David Hawkins, celebrated Barton Lodge's commitment to providing outstanding care and hospitality, with the Mayor cutting the ribbon to mark this momentous occasion.

Barton Lodge, owned by Manucourt Ltd, who have just received the prestigious accolade of ‘Top 20 Group Award’ for the eighth year running by carehome.co.uk, has undergone a complete transformation. Alongside the new dedicated dementia and residential spaces, the 44-bed care home now boasts new amenities, including an activities room, an upgraded hair salon, and a welcoming drinks area. Additionally, various updates such as new flooring, wallpaper, furniture, lighting, themed corridors, and bedroom schemes have been implemented to enhance the overall experience for residents.

The celebratory event was complete with live music and delicious food prepared by Barton Lodge’s talented in-house chefs.

Amanda Cooper, Manager of Barton Lodge said: “We are thrilled with our redevelopment and were delighted to welcome so many people to our open day and get such incredible feedback.

“We’d like to extend a big thank you to everyone. It was such a special day, and having the Mayor return to officially mark the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony, after he helped open the care home in 2014, made it even more memorable. We can’t wait for the next 10 years!”

Owner of Manucourt Ltd, Shabbir Walji, said; “This luxurious renovation stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and comfort to our residents. Our devoted staff members have been instrumental in making this vision a reality, ensuring Barton Lodge continues to be a place of warmth, compassion, and dignity for all who call it home."
