D-Day 80th Anniversary Remembered

D-Day commemorations started with our Residents making their own bunting in the morning.

This was followed by a lunchtime 'Tea Party' and an afternoon screening of The Longest Day which is a epic war film based on Cornelius Ryan's 1959 non-fiction book about the D-Day landings in Normandy on June 6th 1944.
