Vive la France at Timperley Nursing Home

To celebrate Bastille Day the home threw a 'Bastille Day Bash' that would make even the French Revolution proud!

There was entertainment from special guest Louis, The French Singer who serenaded everyone with beautiful songs.

You could celebrate Bastille Day without indulging in some delicieux French snacks, including pate, a fabulous selection of French cheeses and of course some fine French wine to help it go down.

Thanks to the Care Home Activity Provider residents enjoyed a virtual tour of some of the magnificent sites of Paris, marvelling at the Eiffel Tower and a stroll down the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysees, from the comfort of their armchairs - No passports were needed.

One of the residents, Gabi, used to live in France and always loves this celebration, her joie de vivre is infectious!
