Fire Safety Awareness Week 16th - 20th September 2024

We had the most amazing week last week with some super support from our Community Teams to educate us all in Fire Safety. Our Team at The Anchorage have been attending lots of extra training sessions, including the use of our Evacuation Sleds and the use of Fire Extinguishers with our training provider.

We had a Resident Fire Awareness session and a Fire of London/Fire General Quiz , where residents showed off their general knowledge and understanding of our homes Policies and procedures in the event of a Fire. Each resident also had a couple of activity books from the London Fire Brigade to complete themselves or to share with families/Visitors.

On Friday we were blessed with a visit from Ben and Rob, who visited us from the West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, they are our Rural Engagement Officers . Residents thoroughly enjoyed this Fire Safety talk, and are eager to share the Free Safe and Well Visit leaflets with friends and family. Thank you @West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service.
