On behalf of Matthew Kaye, DC Care is delighted to announce the successful sale of Highfield House, located just a short distance from the picturesque Georgian harbour town of Whitehaven in Cumbria, near to the Lake District National Park.
Highfield House is registered as a residential care home with nursing to include dementia and mental health conditions, for a maximum of 67 residents and was acquired by Mr Kaye in early 2000's.
Occupying extensive grounds the property has been substantially extended around its original two storey (Grade II Listed) section, with impressive extensions to either side
With Mr Kaye wishing to retire, DC Care was instructed to market the business, which was sold to an existing operator, who we would like to wish the best of luck with their plans for the home.
The sale of Highfield House was overseen by DC Care's Director Andy Sandel and Senior Sales Negotiator Michelle Natkus. Michelle commented "Highfield House attracted lots of interest from a wide variety of buyers operators. We were delighted to find a suitable buyer who would be able to continue operating the home with high standards of care provision."
"Andy and I would like to wish Matthew a very happy retirement!"
