Staff and residents at Barchester’s Mulberry Court care home, in Rawcliffe York, celebrated Easter with a whole host of different activities including a special Christian service led by Linda followed by an Easter egg hunt around the homes award winning garden, taking advantage of the early Spring sunshine and live entertainment from popular vocalist, John Kellow.
Residents at Mulberry Court enjoyed an eggs-tensive range of Easter activities, from making Easter cards, decorations and bunting. Residents also tucked in to a delicious Easter meal of roast lamb with all the trimmings freshly prepared by our chef Ian, Kath and the kitchen team
General Manager, Rachael Moss said: “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter. It’s such a lovely time of year – the residents love all the colourful Easter eggs and decorations and especially our annual easter egg hunt, organised by our lead activities coordinator Zoe, It’s really been an eggs-cellent few days!”
Dorothy, resident at Mulberry Court said: “It has been so lovely to spend time with our families this Easter, though like every Easter, I think I’ve eaten too much chocolate! It was so wonderful to see everyone go to so much effort. I really enjoyed the egg hunt around the garden”.
