Another great day with Forth Bay’s ‘Wee ones and wise ones’

Earlier this year, Forth Bay Nursing Home launched a heart-warming new get-together called Wee Ones and Wise Ones — and it’s quickly become a favourite for everyone involved.

The idea came from senior care assistant Katie, who, as a mum herself, thought it would be lovely to create a space where local parents and their little ones could spend time with residents. Since then, it’s grown into a regular and much-loved part of life at Forth Bay.

Each session is filled with stories, songs, games, and plenty of giggles (and cuddles too). It’s a chance for generations to connect, and the smiles say it all — residents love seeing the babies, and for new parents, it’s a relaxed space to meet others and share support.

A huge thank you goes to Katie, the team, and the local families who’ve helped make Wee Ones and Wise Ones such a special part of the week.
