Residents at Milford House in Salisbury are looking forward to resuming their monthly History Club outings to The Salisbury Museum after the August summer break. This link up with the Museum has proved a hit as each visit different galleries or the latest special exhibition are toured in the company of one of the Museums staff members who give the most fascinating insight into the range of exhibits.
General Manager Aga Musial commented 'this has proved to be really popular with our residents. During the last visit they toured the current Elizabeth Frink exhibition which was both amazing and inspiring. Everyone came back talking about what they had seen and how lucky it was to be able to see an exhibition like this right on the doorstep. The team members and volunteers at the museum are always so welcoming to our group and while every visit is different there is one constant - coffee and cake!'
