Loveday, the leading provider of luxury care for seniors, is proud to announce The Art of Peace, a collaborative art exhibition with the Royal Hospital Chelsea and Peter Jones department store. Taking place on 20–21 September 2025 in the Sloane Room at Peter Jones, the exhibition forms part of the Chelsea Arts Festival and coincides with both World Peace Day and World Alzheimer’s Day (21st September).
The exhibition offers visitors a multi-sensory journey through peace, engaging sight, sound, touch, taste and scent. Many of the artworks have been created by Loveday Members and Chelsea Pensioners living with dementia, yet the pieces stand as powerful reminders that creativity knows no age or limit.
The artworks were produced in weekly workshops led by Grace Holliday, Loveday’s Artist in Residence, who also runs sessions at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Since 2017, Loveday has supported the Chelsea Pensioners with a dedicated art programme, ensuring they benefit from the therapeutic joy of creativity.
This exhibition highlights that creativity knows no boundaries of age or condition. Several of the artists live with dementia, yet their artworks radiate extraordinary beauty and heartfelt expression. Each piece reflects the strength of the human spirit and demonstrates the boundless reach of imagination.
Laurence Geller, CEO of Loveday, said: “Our long-standing partnership with the Royal Hospital reflects our mission to enrich lives and strengthen community. We are delighted to showcase these incredible works at Peter Jones, a place synonymous with creativity and connection.”
