Oslo the parrot makes pals at The Glens

The Glens in Edzell, Angus, recently welcomed a colourful new character to the staff roster, named Oslo the parrot!

Oslo belongs to Kevin, another new team member, who first brought him in for a casual visit. Oslo was an instant hit with both residents and staff.

After a few more visits, it became clear that Oslo had become part of the family. Now, Kevin brings him along for shift or two each week, much to everyone’s excitement. Oslo even has his own magnet on the staff board to mark his appearances.

Full of personality, Oslo is a funny wee guy, who loves music and even dances along. Here he is on our Activities Coordinator Lisa’s shoulder, joining in with the karaoke.

Oslo has brought so much joy and laughter to The Glens, and we’re thrilled to have him as our unofficial mascot.
