Boutique Care Homes is proud to announce that its Founder and Managing Director, Ameet Kotecha, has for the second year been named a finalist in the Care Talk Social Care Leadership Awards, in the distinguished category of Executive Care Home Leader (Small to Medium).

This category recognises senior leaders who demonstrate outstanding strategic vision, personal commitment, and the ability to lead teams with integrity and compassion across multiple care settings. Ameet’s selection as a finalist reflects his continued dedication to redefining what exceptional care looks and feels like, placing people, purpose, and personalisation at the heart of everything Boutique Care Homes does.

Since founding Boutique Care Homes in 2018, Ameet has led the development of three award-winning homes across the South East. The Burlington in Shepperton, Brampton Manor in Newmarket, and Chartwell House in Broadstairs, each built on the belief that exceptional care should feel like family. Under his values-first leadership, the group is now entering its most ambitious phase yet, with five new homes currently in development in Hythe, Burgess Hill, Deal Wokingham and Maidenhead. This strategic expansion will more than double the group’s capacity, bringing Boutique Care Homes’ signature personalised care and community-led ethos to even more people, broadening access to care that’s “so good, it’s unexpected.”

Ameet’s nomination follows a year of continued innovation and progress for the group. Under his leadership, Boutique Care Homes has enhanced its Life Enrichment Programme, introduced a pioneering digital onboarding portal, and maintained exceptional standards of care, as reflected in the group’s 2025 carehome.co.uk score of 10/10 and outstanding team retention rates across all homes.

Reflecting on the announcement, Ameet said; "To be recognised among so many inspiring leaders is a real honour. Leadership in care is a privilege, one that comes with the responsibility to lead with heart, stay true to your values, and create an environment where every individual feels safe, valued, and truly at home. This nomination is a testament to the incredible team at Boutique Care Homes and the unwavering belief we share in offering care that’s deeply personal and built on real human connection."

The Social Care Leadership Awards celebrate leaders who are driving meaningful change in the sector, those who empower teams, inspire innovation, and create care environments where people flourish. Ameet’s shortlisting shines a light on his impact not only within Boutique Care Homes but across the broader social care landscape.

The winners will be announced later this year, and everyone at Boutique Care Homes extends their heartfelt congratulations to Ameet on this well-deserved recognition.
