The Burlington is like no other care home I have seen. Our mum is actually thriving since she arrived at The Burlington five months ago. Visiting her now is a real pleased. Myself and my sisters could not be happier with the love and attention she receives from every single member of staff at The Burlington.
Mum's needs are constantly assessed and re-assessed. She is encouraged to join in activities that she would never have been able to enjoy at home. The medical team are brilliant and our past worries and dashes to the chemist for her medication are thankfully a distant memory, now that she is in the hands of the team at Burlington. Mum is safe and happy and constantly being chatted to and cared for. How lucky are we to find The Burlington? I get the feeling that ALL visitors feel the same as we do.

My mother was a resident at The Burlington for nearly 4 years. My wife and I visited regularly at various times of day and always found the level of care and attentiveness to be extremely high. We also found every member of staff (including cleaners, maintenance etc) very welcoming, polite and helpful
towards us. We were impressed with the amount and variety of activities and celebrations that were organised. We highly recommend the Burlington.
Reply from Margie Gonzaga, Home Manager at The BurlingtonThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. Every time I visit The Burlington the staff are most welcoming. Everyone from reception staff to carers and even support staff always have a smile and will say 'Hello' or 'Good morning'. You are not entering an establishment but a home in the true sense. Everyone is treated like family and made to feel
such.

Since Jo moved in we home had nothing but praise for The Burlington. Jo was helped to settle in and the staff were, kind, attentive and affectionate to her. The Burlingtons piano room is a central social hub and this is brilliant for the residents, staff and visitors alike to socialise. Nothing has

Brampton Manor is a truly amazing Care Home. My mother-in-law resided there for over two years until she sadly passed away at the age of 98. In all that time, she received the most compassionate, kind and loving care from all the staff. It was reassuring to know that she was safe, warm, well-fed and
well looked after every minute of the day and night. The care team were always there for mum (and us), particularly as her dementia deteriorated and her needs increased. The regular activities and entertainment are second to none - singing, dancing, summer barbecues, Christmas parties and Easter egg hunts for all the family, to name but a few. All visitors are made so welcome at Brampton Manor and we felt very much part of the Brampton family. The communication is exceptional with regular emails, phone calls and meetings which kept us informed. We were also able to join in dementia training with the staff, which was a most valuable experience. Brampton Manor for the best professional care
Reply from Akhi Goswami, Home Manager at Brampton ManorThank you so much for your touching and thoughtful review. It means so much to know that our team's compassion, communication, and dedication brought comfort and reassurance. We're grateful that you felt part of the Brampton family - that sense of togetherness is at the heart of what we do. Thank you for your kind words and for allowing us to be part of her journey.

Brampton Manor is genuinely a lovely home and has such a friendly and positive atmosphere. It's beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. I have been so impressed with all the staff at Brampton Manor and how they have helped my mum settle so quickly. They are honestly the most kind, caring and genuine
people who truly love their jobs and also love the residents. As visitors we are made so welcome and I feel very at home when I'm there. Whether it's reception staff, office staff, carers or the entertainments team they go above and beyond to make the residents happy and feel loved and cared for. From a two week respite stay, that extended to four weeks, I soon felt very confident that mum could become a permanent resident. It was a very hard decision moving mum from her own home into care but the Brampton manor team made it a lot less stressful and overall a positive experience. Thank you.

As mum's health deteriorated after the death of her husband, we looked around care home options in our area. It had to be somewhere mum would be happy. Looking round Chartwell we were impressed at once with the fresh modern decor and the friendliness of the staff. The fact they have a nautical theme
running throughout seemed to be a sign as mum's husband was in the Royal Navy. Although it was very difficult leaving her home, she now calls Chartwell 'home'. We are happy knowing that the amazing staff not only give her the best care, but also have interesting and fun activities if she wants to participate, but if she doesn't she has a bright and spacious room overlooking the gardens if she wants to stay there. As mum says, nothing is too much trouble. We cannot fault the care and attention she receives. Book a tour, see for yourself!

I Booked my mother into Branpton Manor for some respite care following a fall and hospital stay. From the time of viewing the care home to the end of stay of my mother I cannot express my high gratitude for the care and support of the staff. On arrival my mother was met and made felt welcome. Every
day that she spent at the home was exceptional with the staff being friendly and supportive. I have not seen my mother more happy and relaxed for a long time. There were daily activities that were engaging and interactive including cake m aking, flower arranging and Bingo. My mum has been a resident at Chartwell House for over 18 months. We know she is in safe hands and well looked after. Chartwell House was the best choice for mum when we needed to find a home for her, and she has been happy there since day 1, and most importantly, we know that she is safe and happy.
The staff are lovely, the facilities are clean, and there are a wide variety of activities for mum to join in /watch as she decides. It is easy to visit mum at times that work for us, and the bistro means mum feels like she feels she is treating us to coffee like she did in her previous life. I am very pleased with mum's care at Chartwell House and would recommend Chartwell House to anyone looking for the next forever home for their loved one
Reply from Jude Coveney, Admissions Manager at Chartwell HouseWe were so touched reading this heartfelt review from a family member of a resident at Chartwell House .Knowing that a loved one feels secure, cared for, and still able to enjoy the little things like a coffee catch-up in our bistro means the world to us. It's those everyday moments of connection that make life feel familiar, meaningful, and truly special. To hear "the best choice for mum" and "she has been happy there since day one" is exactly why we do what we do .
