Riverside Dining in the South Downs – A Day to Remember

A perfect day out for us all at The Anchorage.

We visited a riverside restaurant in the South Downs for lunch, and it didn’t disappoint. Nestled alongside the River Arun (England’s 2nd fastest-flowing river!), the setting was absolutely picturesque.

The food was amazing – from fish & chips and flatbreads to club sandwiches, omelettes, savoury tarts, and delicious cakes. Our residents enjoyed every bite.

We took the scenic country lanes to get there, making the journey just as special as the destination. A day full of smiles, good food, and stunning views.
