It’s so wonderful when history comes to life, and our recent reminiscing session was very special.
Hugh brought along a telescope that once belonged to his father and was later passed on to him. The telescope has a remarkable history, having been used during their time serving in the Royal Navy, and is engraved with both of their names. Everyone enjoyed taking a turn to look through it and were fascinated by its story.
Mike shared a wonderful model of the Moskva ship, along with a photograph of himself during his Navy days. He always has so many incredible stories from his service, and we never tire of hearing them.
It was a lovely afternoon of history, personal stories, and shared experiences.
