Elworth Grange Residents Enjoy a Day of Relaxation and Pampering

HC-One’s Elworth Grange in Sandbach recently hosted a truly special day for its residents, offering a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that left everyone with smiles and a renewed sense of wellbeing.

The day featured a luxurious spa session led by the talented Sarah Sparkles, who provided residents with a range of soothing treatments, including hand massages, aromatherapy, and gentle facials. Soft music, calming scents, and cosy surroundings created the perfect environment for residents to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved “me time.”

Adding an extra touch of joy, Therapy Dog Lucy and her owner Karen Parr from Pets As Therapy visited the home. Residents were delighted to meet Lucy, whose fluffy coat and gentle nature brought comfort and happiness to everyone. The interaction with Lucy highlighted the incredible benefits of animal-assisted therapy, from reducing stress to encouraging social interaction and smiles all around.

Residents shared their delight throughout the day. Many commented on how refreshing and uplifting the experience was, with one saying, “It felt like a day at a luxury spa – I haven’t felt this relaxed in years!” Another resident added, “Lucy made us all laugh and feel so happy. It’s amazing what a little wagging tail and fluffy cuddles can do.”
