Residents enjoy visit to Murton Park

Residents were full of excitement as they visited Murton Park, which is also home to the Derwent Valley Light Railway, where resident Gerry used to volunteer. He really enjoyed seeing old friends and seeing how projects he himself had worked on had progressed.

Resident, John reminisced about spending time at a nearby farm in Huggate in his youth and even climbed aboard the display tractor, not bad for a gent who turns 99 next month! Thank you to Murton Park for making us so welcome and bringing back some fantastic memories.
