Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, is proud to announce that it has won the Knight Frank Care Home Design Award, a highly respected accolade that recognises excellence in care home design and innovation across the UK.
The award was presented on 2nd October 2025, following a visit by a panel of six independent judges on 7th July 2025, who toured the home and assessed it as part of the competition’s shortlist process. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase Beauleigh Court’s thoughtfully designed spaces, stunning sea views, and resident-first approach to care and comfort.
Commenting on the win, Hannah Hargrave, Home Manager at Beauleigh Court, said:
" It was lovely to be able to showcase our beautiful home. All staff were proud to be a part of it and residents enjoyed showing the judges their beautiful rooms and stunning sea views.”
Residents and staff were actively involved in the judges' visit, with many showing off their rooms and the home’s spectacular features, including the striking central chandelier and sculpture, which became a memorable backdrop for a group photo with the judging panel.
The award was gratefully accepted on behalf of the team by Tom Sanders, Estates Director, and Barry Mullen, Lead Architect for the project.
This recognition is a testament to the team who worked so hard to create a warm and welcoming space for residents at Beauleigh Court Care Home. Winning the Knight Frank Award not only celebrates outstanding care home design but also highlights the importance of creating environments where older people can live with dignity, joy, and a true sense of belonging.
