My uncle, who was in Assisted Living accommodation, had a short spell in the hospital and unfortunately, was discharged looking more poorly than when he was admitted. The decision was made to move him to Beauleigh Court as all concerned felt he needed more support. He has improved in leaps and bounds
since moving to Beauleigh Court. He is stronger, looks an excellent colour, has gained weight, and is mentally stimulated by all the activities on offer. The staff are all pleasant and helpful in our experience, and my uncle is very comfortable with them.

Thank you so much. We adore your uncle and he is pleasure to care for. A real asset to our Beauleigh Court family.

My Mum joined Beauleigh Court last month and we were shocked at how quickly she settled in considering it was something she'd been adverse to but unfortunately there was no choice. The home is outstanding in terms of its beautiful communal areas - bar area, day rooms and dining rooms plus bedrooms -
which are modern, spacious, light and airy so feels more like a five * hotel than a care home.
Most importantly their point of difference is the staff. From the manager to the carers to the barista, everyone has been so welcoming, fun and caring - all taking the time to get to know my Mum properly and already know her personality and humour so well that they are always chatting, laughing and dancing with her when I go to visit. Luckily she easily made a number of friends with other residents and they are always enjoying the regular activities together. Food has been top notch and she is loving the weekly hair salon and nail bar. The weekly Drs service is also a bonus. She is loving it.

Both of my parents are residents and in poor health. Beauleigh Court look after all their needs from personal care, nutrition and stimulation which has allowed me to become their daughter once again instead of their full time carer.
They are both taking part in events that they have never done before
in their lives !
I can't thank the staff enough for all their help and support .

My mum has been a resident in Beauleigh court for 3 months now
Her room is lovely and homely and the staff are friendly and welcoming and have made mum feel so at home.
The food is brilliant and they have endless activities, but more importantly mum is cared for with dignity and kindness.
The cost
has been completely worth it for my peace of mind.

My mum has been in Beauleigh Court for two months, initially she came for respite and is now living there full time. She settled in extremely quickly and often tells me how much she likes living there and how kind and respectful the staff are. It's a pleasure to visit my mum at Beauleigh Court and I
really enjoy spending time with her as she's so content and happy there.

The care home is beautiful and staff lovely. My main issue is activities. Unfortunately there needs to be more offered to keep residents occupied.
My other issue is my mum keeps saying she would love a bath. I wish this was offered as she wont ask.
My aunt also needs more prompting regarding personal
hygiene and changing clothes.

Amazing place ! My mother feels really safe and so well looked after and spoilt! As a visitor it feels like a 5 star hotel ! There is a packed itinerary- she is so busy every day. I have to see if I can fit visiting into her schedule now . it's lovely to see my Mother smiling again . I would mention
staff individually - but that is not possible !! Every member of staff goes above and beyond so I would just have to name everyone ! Oh- and I didn't even mention the location and the views ! Incredible ! The best of the best !

I would like to thank everyone at Beauleigh Court. I came initially for 2 weeks respite and then extended for a further 2 weeks. I had some health issues and with the advice and help of the staff at Beauleigh Court I gained weight and have now reached and maintained a weight I have not been able to
reach for almost 6 years. I want to thank everyone from management to concierge, bar staff, carers, kitchen staff, domestic and laundry team. There is not one person I can fault.
This is a luxury care home but it is a care home and the care within it is the most important thing.
Activities are 7 days a week and all are encouraged but if you just want to sit and watch then you can. We are all included and never excluded.
I have tried other care homes but unfortunately they were not for me. Now I am thrilled to be a permanent resident here. I cannot fault a single thing!

My partner was well cared for while I took a respite week and will be happy to stay again. Staff were very kind and entertaining, they responded to calls quickly and nothing was too much trouble. They seem happy with their work and the company. He was taken out for wheelchair rides, to a garden centre
and to a pub, he was most impressed. I could relax knowing that he was happy and safe.

My husband spent two weeks respite care in the beautiful Beauleigh Court. Walking through the front door it is very much like a luxury seafront hotel. More importantly the charming manager stepped from her office to welcome us in and on the way to my husbands spacious room other members of staff going
about their work stop to say 'Hello' (obviously advised of name of new resident) I felt very happy to leave him there, and he was happy too.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.683)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.683) out of 10 for Beauleigh Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 13 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.858 for Beauleigh Court is calculated as follows: ( (139 Excellents x 5) + (11 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 155 Ratings = 4.858
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.825 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beauleigh Court is based on 13 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.825
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 52 registered maximum number of service users is 10.4, which has been reached with 13 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Home Manager

I have worked in health care for 30+ years. I am a qualified registered nurse prescriber and left the NHS to join the care sector in 2022. Having spent some time in the Sanders Senior Living family, I am now proud to be the commissioning manager at Beauleigh Court.

I started working in the care sector was I was 14 years of age. At this time, my grandmother lived with us having developed dementia and my mother managed a local residential care home, so starting as a care assistant there felt like the most natural step for me. When I was 18, I trained as a nurse and spent my career working in both primary and secondary care around the country. Coming back into a care home environment with some life experience feels like coming home – it is where I am supposed to be.

At the beautiful Beauleigh Court, my vision is to provide the best possible quality of life for our residents and a homely environment for our relatives, whilst maintaining residents’ dignity and providing person-centred care. I look forward to welcoming residents and their families and being able to provide a high-quality environment where people can develop new relationships and spend time with their loved ones in a safe and comfortable home.
