My mum is quite new to Grace Court. Our experience has been very positive. From arranging to get mum into Grace Court to settling her in has been very good. The care staff are very caring and attentive and the management have been excellent at answering any questions and putting our minds at rest. Our
minds rest easier now knowing that she being cared for professionally.

Beauleigh Court

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father in law moved into Beauleigh Court in February 2026, after numerous stays in hospital. Myself & my husband had visited a couple of times beforehand and were very impressed with everything we saw, the facilities were beautiful and well looked after , the food was of a very high standard, but
the main stand out factor for us was the absolutely wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble and the kindness shown to Malcolm was lovely, Malcolm was only at Beauleigh Court for a short while, before he sadly passed away, but in that short time, he made friends , joined in activities, enjoyed his time there very much, and ate very well!
It gave us as a family peace of mind, knowing he was happy and very well looked after.
I highly recommend Beauleigh Court. Thank you for everything.
Reply from Hannah Hargrave, Home Manager at Beauleigh CourtThank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. Your father in law was a lovely gentle man who is already missed at Beauleigh Court. It was a pleasure caring for him and getting to know you all. Please feel free to drop in for a cup of tea anytime - we would love to see you.

Grace Court Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
From the initial call enquiring about respite care for my mum, to actually taking there, was dealt with so professionally & with great patience along with understanding.
I looking for 2 weeks respite, but was beside myself with guilt at doing. Unfortunately, as I was not in great health, it was
agreed this was the best way forward.
Grace Court & its staff have not disappointed. They have gone the extra mile knowing that I would be the issue & not mum. I was advised to call as many times as I needed to check she was ok & not fretting.
On the day of mum's arrival, they took care immediately, made her feel so welcome, took her to meet the other residents & as it was a lovely day, she even had drinks on the patio. Later in the afternoon, pictures were sent of mum with her drink, smiling & seemed to be enjoying herself!
I have been updated with her wellbeing, what she has done during the day, how well she had eaten.
Would recommend this care home without a shadow of a doubt

Claridge Place

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Claridge place is incredible, not they way you would usually describe a care home but they are wonderful. Every staff member is warm, kind and welcoming, they all know my Dad and treat him like a good friend. The facilities are first class, you could confuse the downstairs reception and bistro with
a 5 star hotel. My Dad has a really good size room and ensuite that is tastefully decorated and very well maintained. The whole place is kept immaculate. They do activities every day and get the residents out on all sorts of trips. The food is lovely homemade proper meals and there is always tea, coffee and biscuits in the bistro for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Claridge place have given my Dad back his quality of life. I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere you can trust to look after your loved ones.

My father moved into Claridge Olace at the end of March. The facility is clean and well maintained. The rooms are a good size and well furnished. The reason I choose Claridge place was the staff. They are so nice, caring, happy and patient. The food was really good with only one bad experience in 30days.
The activities provided including trips out are stimulating and enjoyable. I feel comfortable that my Father is well looked after and in safe and stimulating environment. I made the right choice.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum has stayed at The Belmont for respite care on a number of occasions and each time we have been impressed by the warmth of the team. The staff are kind, taking the time to get to know residents as individuals and mum always feels comfortable and well looked after.
The bedrooms are spacious
and well-equipped, complemented by beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean communal areas.
It's never easy placing a loved one into someone else's care, but communication with our family has always been excellent, giving us peace of mind whilst we are away.

My Mum is overall very happy at the Belmont and is well cared for by the excellent staff. Mum enjoys being made a fuss of and many of the staff show a genuine love and interest in all of the residents. The hugs and kisses really do make such a difference. The fun activities, led by two great leaders,
are really important to Mum and she takes part as best she can. She enjoys the trips out and the visitors who come to entertain everyone. The food is excellent, the menu is varied and well balanced, and all of the staff involved in the dining hall experience go out of their way to make Mum feel special. The Belmont is a beautiful care home and is always spotlessly clean thanks to the dedication of the cleaners. The 'medical team' make sure Mum gets all she needs at the right times and the care workers help her to feel loved and cared for.
As a son I feel part of the 'Belmont family'. I'm relaxed to discuss any issues of concerns with the managers and know someone will listen.

Beauleigh has been exceptional for our family. Although Dad joined as a respite guest, he has been treated with the same care and dignity as a permanent resident of the community. The facilities are beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and truly second to none. What sets Beauleigh apart is its people.
Every team member shows remarkable kindness, patience, and attention to detail-from the delicious, nutritious food and hospitality to the attentive medical and care teams who support Dad day and night. There is a genuine sense of community, with residents and families supporting one another. The activities are engaging and inclusive, and the home adapts seamlessly as care needs change. In moments that could feel overwhelming, the team brings calm, compassion, and professionalism. We are deeply grateful for the dignity and warmth shown to our Dad every day.

The Belmont

from K H (Daughter of Resident) published on 13 April 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The Belmont came to our aid when we needed urgent respite care for my father, who'd had a series of falls in a short space of time. They'd left him so unwell we had little time to compare other care homes, but we're sure we couldn't have done better if we had. The Belmont looks like an immaculately-maintained
hotel, but it feels like a welcoming home where the staff are kind, professional and look after the residents with real dedication. Under their care, my father has started to regain his health and has now become a permanent resident. He says he feels safe again there, which is so reassuring for him and for us to hear.

There is a wide-ranging list of activities on offer at the home. My father is quietly adjusting to this new way of life and is hard of hearing, so has not yet taken part in any (apart from the hairdressers!). We hope he may do so in time, but while the staff always invite him it's nice that there's no pressure to do so. We'd definitely recommend The Belmont to all.

Reply from Stephanie Howard, Manager at The BelmontI would like to thank you for your lovely review.

Our mother was at Eve Belle for two years before she passed away. We were so pleased with Eve Belle in every aspect. Our mother was so happy there, being encouraged to join in so many activities and make some lovely friends. The care staff and management were exemplary - going above and beyond to ensure
she was happy and healthy. Always caring and thoughtful, they also ensured myself and my siblings were also cared for, particularly when mum fell ill and subsequently passed away. I cannot recommend Eve Belle highly enough. It's like one big family.

Chalkwell Grange

from A C (Daughter of Resident) published on 30 March 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum was made to feel welcome from her very first day at Chalkwell Grange. She initially went for respite, following several falls at home and the need to organise more care, but soon decided she would be happy to move in permanently. She had one of the smaller rooms, but with a view of the garden
and at a quieter end of the corridor, so it suited her perfectly. It was wonderful to see her confidence grow through daily interactions with staff and residents, and she quickly settled into a routine, enjoying the activities on offer (especially the choir) and the excellent food. Mum very sadly only had nine months here before passing away, but I cannot thank the staff enough for the kindness, respect and care they gave her. Knowing my mum was safe and happy improved my quality of life too and the move to Chalkwell Grange gave us the opportunity to enjoy our mother-daughter relationship in the last months of her life.
