The Belmont

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
It is nearly two months since mum moved into The Belmont Care Home, and initially it has taken several weeks for her to identify the people who are the heroes and the zeros, find out how things work or don't work and get familiar with the rules and regulations. Not that there are too many of these,
this is not a regimented home and overall the atmosphere is very relaxed. We have been most impressed with the accommodation, not just the provision of a room and care services but the way in which she has been able to bring in her own furniture, pictures/photos, TV/DVD combo and all sorts of personal items. It is this in particular which makes her feel she has retained her individuality and has eased her transition. The prime rationale behind getting mum residency at The Belmont was to ensure that she has 24 x 7 care on tap, which is most certainly the case and is covered excellently. I'm now starting to see mum settling in and this is an added reassurance that she is in the Right Place

I cannot fault Beauleigh Court for the care that they have given my Dad during his stay here. The staff are caring, supportive and do a fantastic job. The standard of the home is really top notch compared to other care homes that we viewed. My Dad's room was lovely and spacious and felt like he was
in a hotel rather than a care home. We didn't have to worry about Dad as all of his care needs were met during his stay.

Mum's been at The Belmont for a year this month and is totally settled in her lovely peaceful en suite room, overlooking the attractive central courtyard and with access to the sunny roof terrace too. The stylish and comfortable home is always immaculate and maintained to high standards.
Mum has made
some lovely friends amongst the other residents and regularly takes part in and enjoys the wide variety of activities and entertainment on offer - there's something for everyone!
Mum has been looked after professionally, always kindly and with dignity and the views and preferences of residents and their relatives are always listened to.
The staff are really lovely, genuine and friendly throughout The Belmont and the care is excellent.

Here's your 5-star review:

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful care home. As a close friend of a resident, seeing him so happy and settled has been an absolute joy.

The care he receives is outstanding. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely compassionate - they treat every resident

with dignity and real kindness. It's clear they go above and beyond their duties, taking the time to truly get to know the people in their care.

The food is excellent - freshly prepared, varied, and clearly made with care. My friend always has something positive to say about mealtimes, which means the world to those of us who want to know he is eating well and enjoying his day.

The activities programme is brilliant. There is always something engaging going on, keeping residents stimulated, social, and smiling. My friend has found a new lease of life through the events and group sessions on offer.

The management team deserve enormous credit. The home is run with professionalism

Graysford Hall

My mum was a resident at Graysford Hall during the above dates. (She passed away on 28/04/26). The carers are outstanding, providing the very best care that they can without a full complement of staff. Residents are often left alone in the lounge/dining room due to low staff levels, certainly a safe
guarding issue. Management is very poor in the time mum was there there were in excess of six managers and often no manager at all. Promises were made to improve but they didn't.
Reply from Izabella Goodall, Reviews Team at Graysford HallThank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your mother's stay at Graysford Hall.

Firstly, please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. We are grateful that you chose Graysford Hall to support her and appreciate your kind comments about our care team. Our staff work hard to provide compassionate care, and your recognition means a great deal to them.

I was sorry to read your concerns regarding staffing levels and management changes during your mother's stay. We understand how this may have impacted your experience. Since then, we have welcomed a permanent Home Manager and Deputy Manager, providing greater stability and continuity for residents, families and staff.

We value all feedback as it helps us continue to improve our service. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we wish you and your family comfort and peace at this difficult time.

My stepmother has been resident at The Belmont under dementia care for the last 18 months and over that time , all staff at The Belmont have shown professionalism, patience and care in all areas. The home is purpose built which helps both residents and staff to be comfortable in a modern stylish environment.
Activities are scheduled daily to keep residents engaged and entertained as much - or as little - as they want.

In that knowledge, the family have every confidence that she is in the best possible place going forward and we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in similar circumstances.

Nothing but impressed since organising to move my auntie here, from a very basic home, this is like a 5-star hotel. The care + support for my auntie, especially whilst we have had personal circumstances making it difficult for us to visit, has been nothing short of amazing. Nothing is too much trouble,
and the communication is perfect. Please don't increase the fees too quickly or too high, as she loves it here. Thanks.
Reply from Beth Standley, Customer Relations Manager at Wilton ManorThank you so much for your lovely review.

Most importantly, we're delighted that your auntie loves being here - thank you for trusting us with her care.

My Mum arrived at the Belmont initially for respite care in February after 6 weeks she chose to stay permanently.
The team at the Belmont are so great. The care team are really engaged with the residents & very safety conscious without being overbearing. The activities ladies work really hard to keep
the days interesting with things to do, trips out & lots of socialising. Family & friends are made very welcome by all the staff & greeted by name.
We are so pleased that our Mum has settled and is happy with her new home, it's all as her daughters we could wish for.

It was the first time visiting my Gran in her new home and I was so overwhelmed, in the best way. The staff were so welcoming and seemed to know her so well, she's made so many friends and it's so comforting to know she is living her best life. I met quite a few of the staff members but one really stood
out for me and that was Stacey. My family have praised her endlessly for her support from the very start. She was so kind and welcoming and made sure I knew where everything was. She made Gran and I a drink and sat with us to share everything she had been up to. Claridge Place is a beautiful home and my Gran looks radiant and so happy. Thank you.

From the initial call with Beauleigh Court to arrange a visit for my mother, the visit the following day during which the staff provided useful information and to arranging the move, was all seamless. Mum has settled in very well, and even rekindled some old friendships, enjoys the view of the estuary
and the freedom to continue with some of the outside activities previously enjoyed. Clearly, the dining experience has improved her health and the activities keeping her entertained. The home and mum's is very nicely appointed and kept spotlessly clean. Above all, the staff are always happy, attentive and pleased to provide assistance and refreshment during our visits.

We moved my father in law into The Belmont assisted living home, Worcester, in April 2026. Before even making the move, the support, guidance and care we received in preparing was exceptional. We initially chose the Belmont because of its excellent location, friendly and caring staff and wide range
of social activities. Since moving in, my father in law has been well looked after, encouraged to get involved and he very much enjoys the meals. It's been a huge relief knowing he is being cared for in a respectful and friendly environment. I would highly recommend the Belmont to any family seeking the next chapter of care and support for their loved one.

Mum has been a resident at The Belmont for nearly 3 months now. She has settled in pretty well and feels comfortable in her surroundings. Mum has always been a sociable person so she definately benefits from the wide range of activities offered. Mum likes to stay active so her favourite activity is
the Sanders Steppers where she can get out and go for local walks. She also loves to take advantage of the hair salon and visits weekly. Her room is spacious and the furnishings are lovely which continue throughout the corridors and lounges.
The home itself is like a five star hotel, from the moment you enter the foyer area it is clean, warm and welcoming. All the staff are extremely friendly, caring and all address mum by her name which as her daughter its very reassuring to see how much they care and love their work.
I would like to thank everyone for helping make The Belmont mums new home.
