My father has been a resident since March 2026, and from the initial assessment through to his move and ongoing care, the experience has been exceptional. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to ensure he receives the highest standard of care, dignity and support. Communication is outstanding. The team is approachable, responsive, and nothing is too much trouble. My father is encouraged to take part in activities & has enjoyed excursions promoting his confidence. He is content & genuinely happy at the home. It is a pleasure to visit him, and see the positive environment the staff create each day. The transformation has been remarkable - he looks like a new man. We are incredibly grateful for the care & compassion shown to him and our family.

The home was well run with plenty of staff around all the time. The home was always kept very clean and maintained very well. The staff were friendly and helpful and reassuring not only to the residents but also to the relatives. I would highly recommend Chelmunds Court to any future residents and their families.

It was the first time visiting my Gran in her new home and I was so overwhelmed, in the best way. The staff were so welcoming and seemed to know her so well, she's made so many friends and it's so comforting to know she is living her best life. I met quite a few of the staff members but one really stood out for me and that was Stacey. My family have praised her endlessly for her support from the very start. She was so kind and welcoming and made sure I knew where everything was. She made Gran and I a drink and sat with us to share everything she had been up to. Claridge Place is a beautiful home and my Gran looks radiant and so happy. Thank you.

My wife has been a resident here for 2 years now. The home and staff have provided excellent care for her. She has a lovely room with an adjacent bathroom. The staff are conscientious and caring, and communication has always been very good.

Chelmunds Court is an exceptional home where they have made my wife feel very welcome. They have cared for my wife in every way possible. From the first day, they have made her feel welcome and a part of the family. The activities and trips out have been brilliant, and they keep me up to date on how she is. It is an exceptional care home with very understanding, caring and professional staff. Please keep up the good work.

Claridge place is incredible, not they way you would usually describe a care home but they are wonderful. Every staff member is warm, kind and welcoming, they all know my Dad and treat him like a good friend. The facilities are first class, you could confuse the downstairs reception and bistro with a 5 star hotel. My Dad has a really good size room and ensuite that is tastefully decorated and very well maintained. The whole place is kept immaculate. They do activities every day and get the residents out on all sorts of trips. The food is lovely homemade proper meals and there is always tea, coffee and biscuits in the bistro for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Claridge place have given my Dad back his quality of life. I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere you can trust to look after your loved ones.

My father moved into Claridge Olace at the end of March. The facility is clean and well maintained. The rooms are a good size and well furnished. The reason I choose Claridge place was the staff. They are so nice, caring, happy and patient. The food was really good with only one bad experience in 30days. The activities provided including trips out are stimulating and enjoyable. I feel comfortable that my Father is well looked after and in safe and stimulating environment. I made the right choice.

My mum has been a resident of Chelmunds Court since December 2023. As an experienced registered nurse I am looking for high standards of care from the pre admission contact onward Mums care has been superb - consistently gold standard. The motivation, professionalism and attention to detail of the management team is reflected in the staff. In an industry that is often mediocre Chelmunds Court is an outstanding example of how tryly individualised care should be delivered. The ethos of care includes amazing emotional support with staff noticing and interacting with residents who are distressed or just 'feeling low' spending time to talk and calm them. This support also extends to families as I have gratefully experienced.

This is my second time having a relative stay here, my first being my Grandmother between 2019-2022, and now my Auntie. The staff are always so friendly and remembered myself and my family from before. The home is always clean and smells fresh. The residents all look happy and well looked after. It is lovely seeing all the activities on offer for all residents.

Relieved to find a care home fit for purpose. Residents not kept in a day room all day if able to safely walk unaided. Brightly decorated areas, plenty of attention to detail. No restriction on when you can visit, open house, although meal times can be busy. Lovely activities & celebrations.

I was reluctant to put Sandra (my wife) in a home, but I couldn't give her the care she needed. But when we came and saw Chelmunds Court home, I was over the moon, it was amazing. The staff were wonderful, the home is spotless, I couldn't wish for a better place for her. It's like home from home, with amazing care. Thank you all, you are fantastic.

My sister-in-law came into Chelmunds Court for respite care. I can only say the staff were wonderful at welcoming her in and she settled straight away. The home is excellent at stimulating it's residents with something going on every day ie Valentines day, Mothers day, St Patricks day etc and taking them out for walks or to a local garden centre for coffee & cake. It is important to relatives to know their loved ones are happy and cared for and this home is excellent at this and gives us peace of mind. Well done to all the staff - you do an excellent job.

Everything about the home was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help with anything at all.

Have wanted my dad in a safe & friendly place, everyone I've come in contact with (staff & nurses from hospital) have been more than helpful & hear nothing but good things about Chelmunds Court, so me & my sisters know he is in safe hands. Thank you!
