My Dad recently stayed at the care home for two weeks of respite care, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the first phone call, the staff were super efficient, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made sure he felt comfortable and settled straight away, which gave
our family real peace of mind. Thank you so much

I am really disappointed with the state my husband came home. When the staff came to assess him they were aware of what mobility he had and I had hoped they would have continued helping him while in their care. However, he has lost his mobility and I now have carers in 4 times a day to move him from
bed to chair assist him at lunch time and late afternoon then put him to bed. He spent all of the time sitting in a chair. I appreciate he is not very sociable and did not want to join in activities but I am sure he could have been encouraged to walk round his room. He did have his walker there. I bitterly regret putting him into respite care.
The facilities, cleanliness etc are obviously good but I just feel my husband was in some ways neglected.
Reply from Izabella Goodall, Marketing Executive at Wilton ManorThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. On behalf of Wilton Manor and Helen, the Home Manager, we are truly sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your husbands respite experience, and we fully appreciate how upsetting this must be for you. The wellbeing, safety, and dignity of every resident is our absolute priority, so we take your concerns very seriously.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of his stay in more detail, we would very much welcome the opportunity to talk with you directly. Please feel free to contact the home at any time or email info@sandersseniorliving.co.uk .

We were all very sad when Dad's dementia made it impossible for him to remain in his own home, but we could not have asked for a nicer new home for him. From first contact right through to his death over 2 years later, he was treated like a family member by all the staff. He was always comfortable,
well cared for, well fed and encouraged to join in with activities. We were given regular updates on his care and frequently called if we had any concerns or special requests. The kind and caring staff at Graysford made Dad's last 2 years as comfortable as they could have been, and they treated him with the ultimate dignity and respect in his last few days. It was touching to see how close so many members of staff were to him, it really felt like he had been with family and friends rather than 'away from home'.
Reply from Sorina Tanasa, Home manager at Graysford HallThank you so much for your heartfelt words. It means a great deal to all of us to know that we were able to make your dads time with us comfortable and filled with care and warmth. He was truly a cherished part of our Graysford family, and it was an honour for us to support him and your family throughout his journey. Your kind recognition of the teams compassion and dedication will be deeply appreciated by everyone here. Sending our sincere thanks and warmest wishes to you and your family.

Overall we have been happy with the care provided at Graysford Hall. It's an attractive buiding and the rooms are spacious. My father does not mix with other residents so one of our concerns is lack of stimulation and the care team are aware. Management of the home has had its challenges and there have
been 3 managers to date, which is difficult for staff & carers. Previously, there have been issues with weekend staffing, particularly management, but I understand this is being addressed. Personal care has been good & they have been very kind to my father.
Reply from Ronni Jones, Customer Relations Manager at Graysford HallThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We also appreciate your honesty regarding the challenges you've observed, including management changes and weekend staffing, and we want to assure you that we are actively addressing these areas to provide consistent support for both our residents and staff.

It's encouraging to know that the personal care and kindness of our team have made a positive difference for your father. Your feedback is very valuable to us as we continue to improve and ensure all our residents feel stimulated, supported, and well cared for.

I have been nothing but impressed with the standards and level of care for my aunt since her stay at Wilton manor March 2025. The staff have been so so helpful and understanding with everything I have discussed in relation to my aunt and my personal pressures at home. Nothing is too much trouble especially
as I am tied up with weekly hospital appointments for my daughter, they keep me informed about my aunt, and are always so approachable and interested when I call or visit. The activities for both residents and relatives are so varied and it really is lovely to be able to just pop in and enjoy the numerous lounges quiet or busy which is always so welcoming and doesn't feel like a home, more like a hotel

Whenever I call my aunt, despite her memory problems she always refers to how lovely all the staff are and are very helpful keeping her book choice varied being the book worn she is. I highly recommend Wilton Manor for its level of care, quality, value, activities, accommodation

Reply from Beth Standley, Customer Relations Manager at Wilton ManorThank you so much for your incredibly kind and thoughtful review. Creating a welcoming, homely (or even hotel-like!) atmosphere is so important to us, and your words are a real testament to the team's dedication. Myself and my husband were blow away with how beautiful and lovely Wilton Manor is. We visited my friend for the first time and were taken aback. Not only is the home beautiful, but the staff are wonderful. We were offered a cup of tea by the receptionist and our friend was sat in the cafe area with
another lady and they were chatting which was lovely to see. Our friend said she had just had salmon for lunch! all of the staff said hello to us and came to check on my friend to ask if she would like a drink. Sadly, we've had many dealings with care homes in the past and this is by far the best one we've ever visited! excellent!

Facilities and staff are all amazing - the improvement in Dad's health has been incredible while he has been a resident here. His bedroom is much bigger (and nicer) than other care homes I looked at, lovely garden, the food is tasty and there are plenty of trips and activities. It's great that friends
and relatives (and pets!) are encouraged to visit and all have said how welcome they have felt. Communication with the family has also been exceptional, which is so valuable during a stressful time.

My dad was initially reluctant to move out of his home into residential care but his move to Graysford Hall has gone very well.
The facilities for the residents are excellent with superb gardens for the residents to relax in when the weather allows. My dad has settled quickly into his spacious and
well fitted room.
The staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing seems too much trouble to them. My dad has made new friends and got to enjoy a number of the activities which are regularly on offer. Dad has always enjoyed his food and is well pleased with the variety and quality of food at Graysford.
Friends who have visited dad have unprompted commented how impressed they are with the staff and facilities at Graysford Hall.
Reply from Sorina Tanasa, Home manager at Graysford HallThank you so much for your kind words. It truly means a lot to hear that your dad has settled in well at Graysford Hall, especially after the big step of moving from his own home. We know how important that transition can be, and the team works hard to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for from the very beginning. We're really pleased he's enjoying his room, the food, the garden, and of course-making new friends and getting involved in the activities. That's exactly the kind of experience we want our residents to have.

Our dad was being discharged from hospital following a fall and we thought that he needed looking after for a bit before he went home.
We booked him in to Wilton Manor where he stayed for four weeks and it was excellent in every way. Dad's highlights were the lovely staff and amazing food - he put
on weight whilst in there which was very positive. My highlights were the staff - each and every one was friendly and caring.
If we need respite again or longer term care then Wilton Manor would be the place.

Wilton Manor Care Home is a beautiful, clean, shiny place with all the facilities you could want, but what makes it truly exceptional are the amazing staff. Every person you meet genuinely cares and has a lovely attitude. They have already built a little community within a community. Nothing is too
