The home has a lovely welcoming atmosphere, everyone is very friendly, caring and always helpful. I cannot recommend the home enough, food is good rooms are a good size & well appointed. The home is very clean & tidy & always smells fresh. Activities are good & varied and every effort is made to include all residents if they wish to join in. Overall a great home from home environment for my relative to live in and enjoy, she is very settled.

Here's your 5-star review:

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful care home. As a close friend of a resident, seeing him so happy and settled has been an absolute joy.

The care he receives is outstanding. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely compassionate - they treat every resident with dignity and real kindness. It's clear they go above and beyond their duties, taking the time to truly get to know the people in their care.

The food is excellent - freshly prepared, varied, and clearly made with care. My friend always has something positive to say about mealtimes, which means the world to those of us who want to know he is eating well and enjoying his day.

The activities programme is brilliant. There is always something engaging going on, keeping residents stimulated, social, and smiling. My friend has found a new lease of life through the events and group sessions on offer.

The management team deserve enormous credit. The home is run with professionalism

Nothing but impressed since organising to move my auntie here, from a very basic home, this is like a 5-star hotel. The care + support for my auntie, especially whilst we have had personal circumstances making it difficult for us to visit, has been nothing short of amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, and the communication is perfect. Please don't increase the fees too quickly or too high, as she loves it here. Thanks.

My Dad recently stayed at the care home for two weeks of respite care, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the first phone call, the staff were super efficient, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made sure he felt comfortable and settled straight away, which gave our family real peace of mind. Thank you so much

I am really disappointed with the state my husband came home. When the staff came to assess him they were aware of what mobility he had and I had hoped they would have continued helping him while in their care. However, he has lost his mobility and I now have carers in 4 times a day to move him from bed to chair assist him at lunch time and late afternoon then put him to bed. He spent all of the time sitting in a chair. I appreciate he is not very sociable and did not want to join in activities but I am sure he could have been encouraged to walk round his room. He did have his walker there. I bitterly regret putting him into respite care.

The facilities, cleanliness etc are obviously good but I just feel my husband was in some ways neglected.

Myself and my husband were blow away with how beautiful and lovely Wilton Manor is. We visited my friend for the first time and were taken aback. Not only is the home beautiful, but the staff are wonderful. We were offered a cup of tea by the receptionist and our friend was sat in the cafe area with another lady and they were chatting which was lovely to see. Our friend said she had just had salmon for lunch! all of the staff said hello to us and came to check on my friend to ask if she would like a drink. Sadly, we've had many dealings with care homes in the past and this is by far the best one we've ever visited! excellent!

Our dad was being discharged from hospital following a fall and we thought that he needed looking after for a bit before he went home.
We booked him in to Wilton Manor where he stayed for four weeks and it was excellent in every way. Dad's highlights were the lovely staff and amazing food - he put on weight whilst in there which was very positive. My highlights were the staff - each and every one was friendly and caring.

If we need respite again or longer term care then Wilton Manor would be the place.

Wilton Manor Care Home is a beautiful, clean, shiny place with all the facilities you could want, but what makes it truly exceptional are the amazing staff. Every person you meet genuinely cares and has a lovely attitude. They have already built a little community within a community. Nothing is too much trouble if it makes quality of life better for their residents. Our relative was treated with love and dignity at all times and respected as an individual. The staff were all very helpful and informative to me as the person dealing with matters. They truly cared and were brilliant with Dad from start to finish. It was Dad's first stay at a care home and having said he would never go to one, he would go again if needed now.

The building itself is very clean, modern and welcoming, you couldn't ask for more.

Wilton Manor is absolutely wonderful. We had a look around for my aunt and the decision was unanimous that Wilton Manor was the place for her. Not only is it beautifully decorated, all the staff are absolutely wonderful. We're always offered a hot drink and cake when we visit and made to feel welcome. Right from the start I have been very impressed with Wilton Manor. Mum moved in late December. We received a very warm welcome. All the staff I have had the pleasure of meeting so far have been very professional and treat the residents with the utmost respect. Nothing is too much trouble. There are numerous and varied activities for the residents to participate in if they so choose. The meals are excellent and personal preferences are catered for. The bistro is a lovely area for residents and family to meet and mix in. Mum is so pleased she decided to move here. She has settled in really well and is much more her old self. Keep up the great work Wilton Manor. So far, I really can't praise you highly enough.

Mum moved into Wilton Manor at the beginning of December. I came from Spain to spend Christmas with her. The home was beautifully decorated, lovely room with big windows, incredibly friendly and approachable staff. After spending three days seeing what wonderful care and attention Mum was getting, and sampling the tasty food on offer, I can go back to Spain happy in the knowledge that Mum is in the best possible place. When we heard there was a new care home opening in Melton Mowbray we went for a tour and signed the contract the next day. The home is impressive being brand new, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated, well-equipped and the common areas are beautiful and very comfortable. There are numerous lounges and a bistro that residents and their family and friends can relax in. Most importantly the staff are truly amazing. From the Manager down, everyone we have met has been welcoming, personable and very caring. The care my mum is receiving is excellent and communication with family members is prompt and comprehensive. The meals at Wilton Manor are excellent and my mum really enjoys them. There is an extensive activity schedule with a variety of in home and community activities. My mum is so happy she moved from her previous care home. Helen CookeJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2024

I joined the Sanders Senior Living family in June 2024, after spending over three decades devoting my life to the compassionate care of individuals living in Dementia, Nursing and Residential care homes. I am a trained Nurse by background.

Raising my family in a close-knit community within the Vale of Belvoir, my three boys were educated in Melton Mowbray. I cared for my darling, gentle dad, who developed dementia, and I truly believe that unless you have had personal experience of such heartache, no one can really understand both the sad and happy times during such a journey. Dementia does not define a person, and every person’s journey is different.

Throughout my 35-plus-year career, I have worked in numerous settings, from small family-run homes to large-scale care Companies, consistently advocating for person-centred care, emphasising tailored, meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation, physical health, and emotional well-being, with family and friends being at the heart.

As I look to the future, I remain committed to my vision of care homes as vibrant communities where everyone can live meaningful, fulfilling lives. I will continue to inspire new generations of caregivers, ensuring that my legacy of compassion and excellence will endure for years to come. I have an unwavering belief in the human spirit's capacity to thrive — no matter what the circumstances.

Laura Webber
Laura WebberJob Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2024

I joined the Wilton Manor family in September 2024 as a Care Team Manager and have since progressed to the role of Deputy Manager.

I have over 25 years of experience in the care sector, having started my journey at the age of 16 as a volunteer in a local care home, where I would spend Saturdays helping to run activities such as bingo. Within a year, I began working full-time in the kitchen and supporting activities, which gave me a strong foundation in all aspects of care home life.

From the age of 18, I knew that a career in care was where I belonged. I progressed into a caregiving role and quickly took on additional responsibilities, becoming a Senior Carer on nights. From there, my passion for supporting others has continued to grow throughout my career.

My close relationship with my grandparents inspired me to pursue a career in care, and it remains the driving force behind the compassion and dedication I bring to my role. I truly cannot imagine doing anything else.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two young children, who also love visiting Wilton Manor and spending time with our wonderful residents.

Kate Inchley
Kate InchleyJob Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2025

I began my journey at Wilton Manor in March 2025 as a Care Team Manager, further developing my experience and continuing my commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

I began my career in care in 2008, when I decided to pursue a new challenge in a field I felt truly passionate about — supporting and caring for others. I started in domiciliary care before gaining experience across a variety of services, including learning disabilities, stroke rehabilitation, and mental health care. This allowed me to build a broad skillset and gain valuable insight into different areas of the sector.

Over time, I discovered a particular passion for working with older people, where I feel I can make the most meaningful difference. I find great fulfilment in my role, especially in bringing comfort, support, and a smile to those I care for.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my English bulldog, Winston, taking him on long walks and occasionally bringing him in to visit the residents, which always brings a lot of joy. I also enjoy helping my mum with her local market stall, which keeps me busy and connected to the community.

Beth Standley
Beth StandleyJob Title:Customer Relations ManagerJoined: 2024

I joined Wilton Manor in October 2024, ahead of opening, which gave me a wonderful opportunity to build relationships within the local community and help lay the foundations for the home to become a valued and integral part of it.

I have always worked in customer service, and this role allows me to combine that experience with the ability to truly support and help people. It is incredibly rewarding — there really is no other role quite like it. I have the privilege of supporting families through significant life changes, as well as getting to know our residents and making a genuine difference to their lives.

I am particularly passionate about organising events at Wilton Manor and welcoming the community into our home, creating a warm and inclusive environment for everyone.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandparents, who have played a huge part in shaping the person I am today.
