Offering residents high quality care and support, Claridge Place boasts a number of spacious and private suites, some with kitchenette and lounge, as well as stylish lounges and dining spaces set over three expansive floors. Most ground floor suites have direct, wheelchair-friendly access to the gardens or courtyard via French doors ensuring residents can always benefit from the amazing outside area which is often used for hosting celebrations and summertime gatherings.

The care that we receive from Claridge Place for Mim is spot on. James, Dale and the staff are always happy to help us. The home is clean and very well run. Our 6 monthly meetings are very welcome and useful.

Following the respite care of our father, Chas, we felt compelled to write to you to express our thanks and gratitude for all that you did for him. Without exception, every member of staff were friendly, welcoming, professional, kind and caring. They greeted us so warmly with ready smiles and friendly
faces which made the transition from home to ' home living' so much easier.
It's obvious that the physical aesthetics of Claridge Place are top notch, from the beautiful bistro with the lovely barista, to the fresh flowers, gorgeous decor and lovely homely touches of resident photographs.
It is blatantly apparent that every detail, no matter how small it seems, has been thought about. Abi the entertainment manager, was so innovative and inclusive, the personal carers were respectful and discreet, the ladies on reception were delightful and welcoming, and the facilities are outstanding.
I have the highest of standards, and you exceeded them all. Thank you (is not enough!)

My Auntie has improved mentally and physically,

Safeguarding her health issue's, in a prompt manner ,was exceptional.
Everyday care and attitude is first class . From every member of the team in all areas of her

Excellently run care home. My aunt has had first class care since October 2024.
From the management team to the hands on carers the whole team are very professional. They treat every person as an individual.

Most staff are excellent showing real care for my husband and respect his dignity.
Staff also ask me how I am and are on hand when I feel I need support. There were no issues in December but in the past when I have raised issues they have been dealt with quickly to my satisfaction.

Mum has been a resident since April 2025 and I can honestly say we are very lucky to have found a place for her there. The property and physical environment are excellent & well equipped. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. When clothes are laundered they are not always returned. The mini bus has been out of action all summer I think a problem with the bus and no driver therefore no trips out. Overall resident seems very happy in home.

Claridge Place has provided a warm, comfortable & welcoming experience for our mother. The staff attentiveness, care and professionalism is always taken care of and in the few occasions she has needed medical assistance the team have been exemplary and kept in constant communication with me and my brother.

Firstly I would highly recommend Claridge Place. The Managers really listen to you and support you with your family needs. This was done in a calm and reassuring way. The Mangers and the whole team are so welcoming and friendly, everyday. My Mother is well looked after and she enjoys her days that

My mother spent four weeks in Claridge Place for respite care. From the first meeting with management we felt reassured that mom would have excellent care - we weren't disappointed every member of staff has shown care & compassion, eleviating any worries and concerns on our part. We highly recommend
Claridge Place, it's excellent staff and facilities and won't hesitate to return, should the need arise!

Everything is really good, mom had only been here a week. I did have a couple of niggles, but after speaking with management everything has been addressed very quickly. Mom is struggling to get used to the new home, but all staff are really helping mom settle in. Mom is also much better at night, sleeping
through a bit more than she used to.

I accompanied my wife and sister-in-law to a meeting with the assistant manager, which was to get an update as to how their Mother was coping and how family and staff perceptions compared. They assured us that all was well and gave us some very helpful and sensible advice as to how to interact with

I am very pleased with the care provided for my Mum at Claridge Place. The staff are caring and spend time getting to know Mum's care needs and wishes.
The staff always speaks to Mum, asking questions about what she wants and spending time for her to answer.
The activity coordinators provide a wide
range of activities and always ensure Mum is invited to join.
When I visit I am made to feel welcome by all the staff. Nothing is too much bother. The reception staff who always book the time dinning. I would recommend Claridge Place.

James Morris

Job Title: Senior General Manager Joined: 2022

James joined Claridge Place in January 2022 as Senior General Manager.


James has over 25 years of experience in care home management, having held positions as Home Manager, General Manager, Regional Manager, and District Manager, but has a total of 32years in the care and nursing sector.


James has led homes that have achieved CQC ratings of 'outstanding' as well as managing care homes through changes from Requires Improvement to Good and again OUTSTANDING.

Dale joins Claridge Place as Deputy Manager having worked in care for 16 years.


Dale had four and a half years of experience as a Deputy Manager before joining Claridge Place in February 2022.

Damian is the head of our housekeeping department.


He is responsible for training and supervising our housekeeping team. Damian completes regular inspections to ensure our home is maintained to a high standard and adheres to all infection control procedures.


Damian achieved a “Distinction” in his Health Care Cleaning Operative course in February 2023.

Gary joined our team at Claridge Place in October 2023. Gary is the Head of our Maintenance department and takes great pride in his work. Gary works hard to ensure that our home is maintained to a high standard and is always on hand to help and support our residents.

We are delighted to welcome Abi to our lifestyle team. Abi has been specifically hired to support our reminiscence community. Abi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in activities and community events, having previously worked as a manager for a community centre. Abi is extremely passionate about enriching the lives of the residents living at Claridge Place and is a strong advocate for person-centred care.
