Excellent Care Home, can't fault it. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Lots of activities. Friends and relatives are welcome. Mom has improved enormously since being here.

My nan has been here for a week and the difference in her is amazing. It's like she is a new person, she appears happier in herself and healthier. She is very content and doesn't have a bad word to say about any aspect of the home, neither do I or any members of the family.

As a family - we have been extremely pleased with the care and service that Mum has received in her first 2 months at Claridge Place. There is obvious trepidation from the outset when first placing a precious relative in a care home but all of the team at Claridge's are professional and they know what
they are doing and know how to look after an individual's needs.
Mum has settled therefore and we believe is very comfortable in this setting on that basis - we have no plans to move her due to the excellent care she is receiving.

It's been a godsend to find this care home. We feel she has settled in very well. She's started to smile and laugh again. Staff are very attentive and meet all her needs. All medication is taken care of. Accommodation is like a hotel. Claridge Place is the place.

The staff show kindness and care to all the residents. Everyone knew my mum's name and made her feel loved. She was in there for respite care following a knee operation and the staff were encouraging and helpful which aided her recovery. It's a beautiful clean setting and nothing is too much trouble.
Hairdressers and beauticians a great extra service which mum loved.

Visiting Claridge Place earlier this year was a real eye-opener for myself and my sisters. Having visited several other care homes our expectations were quite low, but we were shown a home on a whole different level! The team were polite, friendly and only too happy to answer our many questions. Claridge
Place is so bright, spacious and clean, with decor and room size to hotel standards. The interaction of staff with residents was obviously kind and caring.
Dad has settled so well at Claridge Place. The staff now know him as a person and his needs on a day-to-day basis. The whole team, from management and carers through to housekeeping and catering staff, are very friendly and accommodating. It is lovely to now be able to spend time with Dad as a daughter and not as a carer and that Dad can enjoy visits from the whole family in such a welcoming environment.
Thank you to all the staff at Claridge Place for the care they are providing that gives the family peace of mind.

Having previously visited several care homes, our visit to Claridge Place was extraordinary. It was quite obvious upon arrival that Claridge Place created a welcoming, friendly happy place for both residents and relatives.
Claridge Place with its stunning décor throughout and generous room size, made
our choice of care home easier. The whole team are always accommodating, polite, and happy to see you. They are available for a catch-up when we are visiting Dad, and nothing is too much trouble.
I am now able to visit Dad as his daughter and chat about life, hobbies and memories happily, knowing that he is safe and well cared for.
Thank you again to the whole amazing Claridge Place team for making Dad and his family so welcome, you have definitely provided peace of mind for all the family.

After almost three years of residential care at this beautiful care home my aunt has recently been moved to a different room in the memory suite. Unfortunately, her dementia has progressed and she now needs a slightly different type of care.
The move was handled well, all of her belongings were transferred
to a very similar-looking room and placed exactly where they had been before so that it would feel familiar to her. She will still see staff she is familiar with and does not appear distressed by the transition.
Thank you to all of the amazing staff at Claridge Place who continue to care for my aunt in such a kind and thoughtful way.

I have recently placed my sister-in-law in the caring hands of Claridge Place. The home has a floor devoted to dementia patients. From my original contact and eventual placement, I have found all the staff to be extremely efficient, caring and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this home

My mum has been at Claridge Place for over 3 years. She is well settled and now calls it home.
The home is spacious and full of light. The facilities are excellent. Her room is comfortable and has ensuite facilities.
The staff are amazing and care for my mum with patience even though she isn’t always
easy to deal with.
It is clear that the management team they do a job they love and are committed to. They show genuine concern for the residents in their care. I find them approachable and easy to deal with. I am confident about raising any issues with them and know they will do their best to help. Matters are handled with confidence and due care.
I believe the high standards in the home have been set and achieved by the current manager who has worked hard to improve standards and raise the bar. He has a genuine affection for my mum which is clear to see.

Dad moved to Claridge Place from a very different care home on the 18th of January. Up until last summer, Dad had been mostly independent but after falling poorly and a long stay in various hospitals he was moved to a care home where the level of care and compassion were nowhere near an acceptable level,
leaving us with a very dark view of care homes as a whole.
On our initial visit, Claridge Place offered us a completely different viewpoint to care home living - it was spacious, clean, caring, compassionate and interested in their residents! We are still struggling somewhat to put 100% trust in anyone to look after Dad as well as we did but Claridge Place is certainly giving us a run for our money!
Dad's mobility has improved greatly and, although his dementia is still here, we continue to have flashes of the real Dad coming through which is wonderful!
We can only say a massive thank you to the staff at Claridge Place for their care and support with Dad - long may it continue!

Putting my mum into a care home was a big decision to make but after the first time I saw Claridge Place and was shown around by a lovely member of staff, I could tell how happy the residents were and what a lovely relationship they had with the staff.
I knew that this care home was indeed not only
the right home for my mum but also a beautiful home for family and friends to visit. My mum had a lovely stay over Christmas and I have now extended her stay while we get the funding in place to keep my mum there permanently as she has settled in so well.
If anyone reading this is considering a care home for a loved one, then I would highly recommend Claridge Place to them.
Since Mum has been living there my role as a daughter has returned and the pressure of being a carer has been lifted so this has affected my life and my mums in a very positive way.
My mum is now enjoying getting her hair and nails done, taking part in activities and being encouraged to play the piano again.

I went into Claridge Place Care Home for two weeks respite care following a hip replacement and I am very pleased I did because I came home feeling relaxed.
I would recommend it to anyone needing a rest. Staff and food were excellent.
Having never been in a care home before I was pleasantly surprised.

My sister has only just been admitted; however, the service and contact we received prior to her coming in have been excellent. We were kept up to date throughout the process. We felt very well looked after, so knew my sister would be too.

here already, and we know as her family that she will be well looked after and will love it here.

Claridge Place Care Home offers a real home from home with a family feel. The staff promote the independence of those in their care and take their needs and preferences into account. The food looks absolutely amazing.
The management team have taken a really sensible approach during Covid ensuring regulations
are complied with but keeping the well-being of residents and families in mind.

James joined Claridge Place in January 2022 as Senior General Manager.


James has over 25 years of experience in care home management, having held positions as Home Manager, General Manager, Regional Manager, and District Manager, but has a total of 32years in the care and nursing sector.


James has led homes that have achieved CQC ratings of 'outstanding' as well as managing care homes through changes from Requires Improvement to Good and again OUTSTANDING.

Job Title: Senior Customer Relations Manager Joined: 2022

Stacey joined our team here at Claridge Place in August 2022. Stacey is an experienced Customer Relations Manager and is passionate about elderly care.


Stacey will support families from the very start of the journey and ensure the transition into Claridge Place is as smooth and seamless as possible.

Damian

Damian Dunn

Job Title: Head Housekeeper Joined: 2022

Damian is the head of our housekeeping department.


He is responsible for training and supervising our housekeeping team. Damian completes regular inspections to ensure our home is maintained to a high standard and adheres to all infection control procedures.


Damian achieved a “Distinction” in his Health Care Cleaning Operative course in February 2023.

Gary joined our team at Claridge Place in October 2023. Gary is the Head of our Maintenance department and takes great pride in his work. Gary works hard to ensure that our home is maintained to a high standard and is always on hand to help and support our residents.

Job Title: Wellbeing Team Joined: 2024

Meet our wellbeing team. Ruby to the left and Michelle to the right. Both Ruby and Michelle have years of experience in the wellbeing role and work hard to ensure our residents' social needs are being met. From weekly bingo sessions, trips out, crafts and parties, these ladies always have a fun time planned. We offer group activities in the morning and afternoon as well as ensuring we have quality one-to-one time with our residents.


Come and meet our wellbeing team on a Wednesday morning at our café session 11am- 12noon.
