The Belmont

Another excellent respite stay for my mother. The staff are warm and genuinely caring; particularly lovely that they remembered mum from her previous stay. The atmosphere is welcoming and surroundings beautifully maintained. Knowing mum is in such compassionate hands whilst we are away gives our family real peace of mind.

All in all, choosing The Belmont was the best decision my brother and I could have made for our dad's care.

Mum has been a resident since March 2026 and in that time The Belmont have been been able to relocate her to a more suitable room as soon as one became available. Mum always comments on the quality of the meals and also the care provided by the staff. I personally find the Belmont to always be a welcoming environment, like one big extended family and the staff are all very helpful. The Belmont management team will make themselves available at the drop of a hat to make time to talk though any issues. I do think that having televisions halfway up a wall is not that suitable for elderly people to be able to watch comfortably, but maybe this is a safety consideration? Overall though I would heartily recommend The Belmont for its warm atmosphere, level of care, meals and general support. Mt score for activities is lower than it could be because I feel more varied outings might be considered although I do completely recognize that options are limited to the abilities of the residents.

We have no issues.

Mum is happy, safe and well cared for at the Belmont. She enjoys the activities, eats with her friends, can sit outside her room and has a little garden space. She has access to a kitchen area where she can make visitors a cup of tea. The staff are kind and cheerful. We are glad to have found her a nice home.

With a few inexpensive tweaks the home could be 10/10

Both my father and step-mother are in The Belmont, Worcester and both have Alzheimers dementia. They have been there for 18months now. I have found the whole team; the management and carers to be excellent. They are attentive, expert and understanding. On the occasions where they have needed to contact me, they have been informative and timely. My family and I are very happy with the care they receive at The Belmont.

My mum went into respite care for 2 weeks at the Belmont. She really enjoyed her time there. Everyone made her very welcome and took good care of her. Mum joined in activities like bingo listening to a choir and visit to local school. She will definitely go in again for respite care

It is nearly two months since mum moved into The Belmont Care Home, and initially it has taken several weeks for her to identify the people who are the heroes and the zeros, find out how things work or don't work and get familiar with the rules and regulations. Not that there are too many of these, this is not a regimented home and overall the atmosphere is very relaxed. We have been most impressed with the accommodation, not just the provision of a room and care services but the way in which she has been able to bring in her own furniture, pictures/photos, TV/DVD combo and all sorts of personal items. It is this in particular which makes her feel she has retained her individuality and has eased her transition. The prime rationale behind getting mum residency at The Belmont was to ensure that she has 24 x 7 care on tap, which is most certainly the case and is covered excellently. I'm now starting to see mum settling in and this is an added reassurance that she is in the Right Place

The staff are really lovely, genuine and friendly throughout The Belmont and the care is excellent.

My stepmother has been resident at The Belmont under dementia care for the last 18 months and over that time , all staff at The Belmont have shown professionalism, patience and care in all areas. The home is purpose built which helps both residents and staff to be comfortable in a modern stylish environment. Activities are scheduled daily to keep residents engaged and entertained as much - or as little - as they want.

In that knowledge, the family have every confidence that she is in the best possible place going forward and we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in similar circumstances.

We are so pleased that our Mum has settled and is happy with her new home, it's all as her daughters we could wish for.

I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit here for either respite care or permanent occupation.

We moved my father in law into The Belmont assisted living home, Worcester, in April 2026. Before even making the move, the support, guidance and care we received in preparing was exceptional. We initially chose the Belmont because of its excellent location, friendly and caring staff and wide range of social activities. Since moving in, my father in law has been well looked after, encouraged to get involved and he very much enjoys the meals. It's been a huge relief knowing he is being cared for in a respectful and friendly environment. I would highly recommend the Belmont to any family seeking the next chapter of care and support for their loved one.

As a son I feel part of the 'Belmont family'. I'm relaxed to discuss any issues of concerns with the managers and know someone will listen.

The Belmont came to our aid when we needed urgent respite care for my father, who'd had a series of falls in a short space of time. They'd left him so unwell we had little time to compare other care homes, but we're sure we couldn't have done better if we had. The Belmont looks like an immaculately-maintained hotel, but it feels like a welcoming home where the staff are kind, professional and look after the residents with real dedication. Under their care, my father has started to regain his health and has now become a permanent resident. He says he feels safe again there, which is so reassuring for him and for us to hear.

There is a wide-ranging list of activities on offer at the home. My father is quietly adjusting to this new way of life and is hard of hearing, so has not yet taken part in any (apart from the hairdressers!). We hope he may do so in time, but while the staff always invite him it's nice that there's no pressure to do so. We'd definitely recommend The Belmont to all.

5 star all the way ! My Uncle enjoyed respite at the Belmont at Christmas and decided when he went home that he would like to go there on a permanent basis. He went back on 19th January this year and the change in him is remarkable in such a short space of time. He had not been coping very well after my Auntie died and because I live about 2 1/2 hours away, it was a big worry to me. He is enjoying the food, the activities, the wonderful surroundings and most of all care and kindness and professionalism from all of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. He is starting to make friends there too. I am so grateful that we found the Belmont and my uncle has had the opportunity to enjoy a new life there. It is a big relief for me to know that he is safe, happy and well cared for.
