My parents both stayed at the Belmont for respite care in March. Dad who has Alzheimer’s stayed for three weeks. Mum who is physically frail and Dad’s main carer was absolutely exhausted at the time, she stayed for two weeks it was an absolute lifesaver for her. The Belmont is brand new and absolutely
beautiful, it looks like a hotel with fabulous rooms, lovely communal areas, and great food (we were welcomed as guests at lunchtime, so we sampled the food!) Most importantly, the attention paid to my parents' care whilst they were staying was spot on - absolutely meticulous with all aspects of their care and medical needs. I think I slept better than I had for years, knowing they were so well looked after, it provided all of us with a much-needed break-it was our first experience of residential care and a really positive one, we wouldn’t hesitate to use the Belmont again.

I can honestly say that finding The Belmont as a lifelong home for my mum has been an absolute blessing. The kindness and care that she is receiving is just fantastic and to see her so comfortable and happy is truly heart-warming. For us as a family, the realisation that we could no longer look after
Mum in the way that she needs and deserves and that residential care was our best option, was really tough. We struggled to come to terms with that awful phrase ‘‘putting our mum in a home’ but then we met the home manager and all our fears, anxiety and feelings of guilt were replaced with the relief that It was all going to be OK. The manager is the heart and soul of The Belmont and her ethos of love and kindness underpinning exemplary care is reflected by every single member of her staff and in every aspect of Mum’s day to day life. Her well-being is proactively looked after - medically, personally, pastorally and socially and we are fully consulted and updated at all times.

My Mum joined the Belmont family at the beginning of February and I can honestly say that from the minute she arrived, my mum has had the most wonderful and fulfilling time. I say the Belmont family because that is exactly how it feels when you walk through the door. The kindness, care, friendliness
and support is constantly second to none, not just to our precious mum, but to all her family too. Every single member of staff give 110% and nothing is ever too much trouble. They definitely go the extra mile, every single day without fail. I would thoroughly recommend The Belmont. My mum is clearly the happiest she has been in a long time and that is thanks to these lovely people who love and care for her, on our behalf. Since my mother moved into The Belmont just three weeks ago, I and all her family have seen an enormous improvement in both her physical and mental well-being. It is a joy to see her looking so well, interacting with staff and other residents and just generally being at ease, comfortable and happy.
When she arrived, she was given a wonderful welcome, which she so enjoyed. All the staff - the managers, the carers and the support staff, have all engaged with her and made her feel like a special individual, which of course she is! The care she is receiving is marvellous - every detail and need she has is attended to swiftly and with empathy and sensitivity when needed, and also in anticipation before she even asks! They have time to talk as well, which means so much to an elderly person. All our family are just delighted and thankful that she has found such a wonderful place. Thank you to all the carers and to the management for helping us to realise what we wanted for her.

Stephanie Howard

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2022

I started my career in care at 17 as a Care Assistant. I quickly developed a deep love for the role and knew that this was the career path I wanted to pursue. I went on to complete my NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and enjoyed it so much that I continued with my NVQ Level 3.


I have been working at The Belmont since it opened in January 2022. I started as a Care Team Leader and was given the opportunity to become the Deputy Home Manager in August 2022. I have always taken pride in my work and am always eager to learn more.


In April 2024, I was given the chance to become the Registered Home Manager. I absolutely love working at The Belmont, where we truly feel like one big family. I am dedicated to doing my best for both my residents and my team, and I feel fortunate to spend each day with such incredible people.


Outside of work, I spend most of my time on the sidelines of a football pitch, cheering on my son, who plays for Worcester City.

Nicki Brant

I began my career in catering as a full-time chef. After having my two daughters, I found my passion when I started working in the care sector.


I joined The Belmont in January 2022 as a Care Assistant and progressed to a Care Team Leader role while completing my NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.


My dedication to my role and our residents was recognised, and from this, I was offered the position of Deputy Home Manager. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, shopping, and jogging.

I have been working as a host at The Belmont for 11 months. I genuinely enjoy every aspect of my job and take pride in being compassionate and respectful toward our residents. Talking with them and listening to their stories is one of the highlights of my day.


Outside of work, I’m a big football fan and support Tottenham—watching the matches is one of my favourite pastimes.
