Marjorie's Wish

This month, through our Post a Wish initiative, we were thrilled to make Marjorie’s special wish come true! Marjorie has always cherished her memories of Wisbech St Mary Church, where she celebrated significant moments like her wedding day and her son’s christening.

To honour these memories, we arranged a lovely trip back to the church, where we also enjoyed some tasty refreshments during their Harvest event. The visit was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and storytelling as Marjorie showed us the very spot where she once said “I do.” Seeing her joy and hearing everyone share their own memories of this special place was truly heart-warming. Marjorie said, “It’s been wonderful! So many fond memories in this church. Thank you.”
