Enhancing Wellbeing and Hydration with WaterADE

RCH Care Homes has introduced an exciting new partnership with WaterADE, a high-quality vitamin drink developed to support hydration and overall wellbeing in older adults.

The initiative, led by RCH Executive Chef Oliver Clothier, aims to complement residents’ daily fluid intake with a delicious and beneficial alternative to standard cordials or juices. Each WaterADE drink is enriched with vitamins A, C, D, and E, supporting immune health, skin, vision, and bone strength — all particularly important during the winter months when infections and illnesses can be more common.

The new drinks, available in eight vibrant flavours, are both sugar-free and gluten-free, offering residents a refreshing, flavourful, and health-focused option throughout the day. The colourful presentation and variety of flavours have also been well received, with many residents enjoying the enhanced taste and choice.

“As we move into the colder months, supporting residents’ immune systems and overall wellbeing is vital. WaterADE provides a delicious, vitamin-rich option that residents genuinely enjoy.” said Oliver Clothier, RCH Executive Chef.

WaterADE has also been enjoyed beyond resident use — featuring during RCH’s Macmillan Coffee Morning and shared with local emergency service providers, where feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Following the success of the introduction at Orchard House Care Home in Wisbech, RCH Care Homes is exploring opportunities to roll out WaterADE across other homes; reflecting our commitment to innovation, nutrition, and enhancing everyday wellbeing.
