I am more than pleased with the nursing home. Its friendly, clean and modern. The staff are great and very friendly and helpful. The residents are well looked after, with entrainment to stimulate their minds and exercise for their bodies where possible. The food is very good and tasty (I have had lunch
there myself). With a good selection of juice.

This home is one of the good ones, It is a home from home for both my Mum (risiding 3 years) & mother in law (residing 18 months). It really feels like family when you arrive to visit & they Treat all the residents with respect & look after them like they are there own.
On 28th Jan 2026 my mother
in law was 102 years old & Liza (the aciviities Manager) laid on a birthday party for her. The family were all there, a cake was make, many of the residents attended & they even had a great solo artist (singing & playing Gutiar) all the old song that got the residents singing along. It truly was an amazing afternoon & I know my mother in law throughly enjoyed herself.
If you need a care home this is one of the best.
Reply from Abigail Draper, Customer Relations Team at Queens Court Care HomeThank you for such a lovely and heartfelt review. I would like to start by thanking all the staff for their continued support and care provided for my Mother.
Emily had moved to this care home after not really adjusting well in another place but since her move to Maidstone Care Center her whole well being has changed and she has settled in well to
her new surroundings.
The Team are fantastic they support her and needs extremely well and my family and myelf are really impressed with continued effort and support they put in every day.
The whole experience of trying to get a person with complex needs to settle in unfamiliar surrounding was always going to be challenging but the staff and the management teams took it in their stide and deliver exceptional care and high standards.Whenever a family memeber visits they always comment on how good the facilities are so we know that my mother is in the best place .
Thankyou to all at Maidstone Care Center for their continued dedicated support.

I was always welcomed by the carers with genuine smiles, kindness and approachability. Despite such few staff on the floor they maintained a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere.
The receptionists welcome and helpfulness was beyond words: I "off loaded" to her and within minutes she had contacted the Parkinson's
nurse for me. When my sister died she arranged her favorite music to be played as her body was carried through the reception.

My husband has been in Woodlands for over, three years. It took him a little time
to settle in but thanks to the kindness shown by Roxy and Nick he became much more calm and relaxed. Unfortunately he has a time limiting prognosis and is now totally reliant on his careers. The carers on Dove have been
brilliant and so thoughtful.
I visit a lot and am always made most welcome. very grateful ,.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Maidstone Care Centre. My wife spent her final days there and although in great pain the nursing and care made her time as comfortable as possible. My mother was at Park View for over 4 years. Initially, the experience was not so good, and she had several falls, had to go to A&E, and this set her back. Management at the time was weak, but she was well cared for by the staff. There was a subsequent high turnover in the manager position, but this
stabilised and the current post holder is doing an excellent job. Throughout my mum's stay, the staff have been kind and loving. At the end, the experience was exceptional, and the kindness and support I received was overwhelming.

My father's discharge from hospital was complex - he was facing having to go to a delirium bed somewhere. Two care homes assessed him but were unable to take him. However from my first contact with Woodlands, the contact with their nurse, the scene changed entirely. I knew he would be in safe hands
from the extremely professional and sensitive way the staff talked - I was proved right. The care he received was outstanding and the transition to palliative care was seamless. I felt tremendously relieved that he was in a good place at the end. As well as Alzheimer's he had co-morbidities which the nurses took in their stride eg the bedsores he had on admission disappeared within a day or two.
The most important thing is the quality of the care and the consummate skills of the staff; dad's needs were very swiftly understood and met. The whole ethos of the place is exceptional-and I've had cause to visit many care homes in the past! So can compare.
Reply from Abigail Draper, Customer Relations Team at Woodlands Care CentreThank you for sharing such a heartfelt and thoughtful review. The staff at the Withens have looked after my mother since April 2025. She is bedridden and very deaf, but the carers and all other staff treat her well, making sure she understands what they are saying. She is comfortable and stays in her bed most of the time, and looks forward to visits from her family.
Her room is a good size with room to make it look homely. All staff are always happy to help with any queries or observations we have. Very pleased with the care and support.
