Our first impressions were impressive as you would imagine but 5 months in we are certain that RCH is the perfect place for our loved one. I was extremely nervous about handing mum over to be cared for by others due to her highly complex nursing needs. However, thanks to everyone at RCH who have taken on the challenge with a such compassion, kindness and an above and beyond professional attitude, we have no doubt we made the right choice. From the nursing staff to management, their professional support for us in navigating a complex social care system too has been invaluable. The environment is very warm, welcoming and friendly. The activities are incredible and inclusive despite the limitations of residents which is amazing. And as for the food, well compliments to the chef, it's always very tasty and wholesome (I know as have often had a cheeky plate myself). Thank you to everyone at RCH!

Mum was taken to Park View from hospital where mum passed away six days later. The staff were excellent with mum while in there for this short time and were very caring. Mum had a peaceful experience during her last few hours.

Homely home - Good food and friendly atmosphere. Any queries are dealt with empathy, respect and quickly. Management and all staff are attentive and kind. Quick response to any medical needs. Good atmosphere and staff always busy and caring. Dad likes it here very much and we do too.

Extremely helpful from top to bottom. The management helped make my mothers respite period very easy to arrange, and they welcomed her warmly, and made her feel at home. The nurses and carers we're very attentive, friendly, and patient, and my mother wanted for nothing. An all round wonderful experience. Perfect.

Unfortunately, our experience at Brentwood Care Centre was very disappointing. Management were unprofessional, and we felt our concerns about Dad's care were not taken seriously. His care plans and records did not reflect the care he was actually receiving, and concerns around his nutrition and wellbeing left us extremely worried.

I want to make it clear that this is not a reflection of all the staff. Many staff members were trying their best in difficult circumstances, and we appreciate their efforts. In particular, a more recent staff member, Hayley, was praised by my brother, who felt she was really good and wished she had been there from the beginning.

Despite the positive CQC inspection, our personal experience was very different. After raising safeguarding concerns, we felt the situation became even more difficult, and Dad was eventually given notice to leave.

As a family, we felt let down by management and that we had to fight to have our voices heard. I sincerely hope standards improve.

Choosing a care home for a loved one is so difficult. Park View were compassionate and practical from the start. The atmosphere is both calm and respectful. Being able to visit any time meant a lot. The environment is homely and safe. The activities are appropriate and varied. The home was clean and refreshments are always to hand. You and your loved one can move around and enjoy outside space.

Could not fault the care and respect my mother was given during her stay with you. All staff have shown care and concideration to me + my mother at this difficult and sad time I would like to say a really big + heartfelt thank you to all of the team.

Orchard House Care Home, is a lovely friendly place. The carers are lovely alllways helpful. The home is all clean.

Staff are warm and caring to my uncle, the carers always go the extra mile. Orchard House is inviting and Very welcoming.

Since coming here in February Tudor staff are always very kind, pleasant, helpful and supportive. They have put a lot of effort into getting to know me and accommodating my preferences. I feel very comfortable here and well looked after. The food is lovely. G. and F. are excellent at providing and arranging medical care.

Excellent Management team

Very pleasant nursing home. The staff are excellent and try to accomodate my husband's every need. Food is very good, cooked on the premises and always an alternative is available.

A dear friend of mine Irene is at Withens Nursing home. She is now content and happy after being moved from care home to care home the last few years. All of the staff have been very friendly and accommodating to her needs. Its a joy to go and see her, her room is lovely with a wonderful view of the trees and the squirrels outside. She really loves the squirrels!

The care home is a lovely friendly place. Very good entainment, it keeps my dad happy.
