Park View Care Centre

Mum was taken to Park View from hospital where mum passed away six days later. The staff were excellent with mum while in there for this short time and were very caring. Mum had a peaceful experience during her last few hours.

Choosing a care home for a loved one is so difficult. Park View were compassionate and practical from the start. The atmosphere is both calm and respectful. Being able to visit any time meant a lot. The environment is homely and safe. The activities are appropriate and varied. The home was clean and refreshments are always to hand. You and your loved one can move around and enjoy outside space.

Could not fault the care and respect my mother was given during her stay with you. All staff have shown care and concideration to me + my mother at this difficult and sad time I would like to say a really big + heartfelt thank you to all of the team.

Excellent Management team

My dad moved into Park View following a bout of Acute Delirium. The manager, Darren, couldn't have been more supportive and understanding towards me, along with the support of his management team - Karen, Kelly and Sabrina. The support staff - Nikki, Neil, Andy and Pauline, along with the ' long-suffering' kitchen staff, have been excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. All are so polite and patient. Some examples of their kindness are - Pata, who consoled my dad when very upset, distracting him with his photos, and Dupa, who personally went to get Dad's prescription. These are just 2 examples of the lovely staff, there are too many to mention by name, but Saru, Shanti, Durpga, Slaelja, Maya and Indu should be very proud of themselves and their teams. All residents seem happy, the most important consideration! Thank you to all staff for their kindness to my dad and understanding shown to me and my mum. We will no doubt be back in the future!

My husband was transferred to Park View Home from Hospital in August 2026 for assessment & end of life care. Staff were always friendly & helpful & looked after my husband well. Visitors were made welcome, even pets.

After BQ was over then inside they had entertainment from a lady from outside the home, residents was joining in lovely to see, manager and all staff are turning it around and its a welcoming - friendly place to be.

We have just had a great time with mum enjoying an afternoon in the garden having a bbq organised by the manager and wonderful staff. Followed by entertainment in the lounge. Its nice to see that they involve some of the residents in the running of these events. We have noticed in the last few months a lot of changes around the home for the better. Keep up the good work.

I am very happy with the service my dad got plus I was made welcome too and nothing was to much of a problem. This is a five star care home in my opinion and anyone should not have any problems with love ones going in to the home

We have had a few issues with my brothers behaviour but the staff and everyone have been amazing. The home is lovely, clean and welcoming.

The staff and manager Darren have been very kind and considerate towards my brother, who had very aggressive behaviour. Darren has spoken to us about his behaviour and we fully understand what they are up against but he has gone above everything to keep him in the home, which my sisters and I are most grateful.

My mother has been a resident at Park View Home for seven months. The experience has been very positive. All the staff are kind, patient and attentive, taking time to get to know her and I feel happy as I know she is very well cared for. Park View is a lovely, clean, comfortable and welcoming home for all residents and their families. The food looks and smells good and they are varied. The staff keep me up to date with Mum's health and care, for which I am deeply grateful. I would and do recommend Park View Care Home to other families, who are looking for a supportive, compassionate environment.

My sisters and me met with the manager this morning. Very positive meeting about our brother. The manager was very understanding and kind. We had a good outcome and we are happy that our brother will stay in the care home.

My nan is well looked after at Park View. She is on the dementia suite. Staff engage with her well and encourage her to join in on activities which she enjoys. Staff are aware of how important family is to my nan and know of our family so can talk to nan about us when we are not there and this gives her reassurance. The home always smells clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I also get to have meals with my nan when I visit. Nan always looks well looked after. She is very happy there. Staff always show support to us. It was a difficult decision to make to move Nan into a home, but Park View helped us with this process and it was the best decision.

Mum has been resident for less than a month. Her experience has been excellent, and has exceeded our expectations from the initial visit to her moving into her room. She is well cared for and everyone is helpful and polite. We have introduced a whiteboard for all the staff to communicate with Mum as she is profoundly deaf. This has been very successful and we have noticed that staff leave sweet little messages and pictures on it. Thank you Park View for making Mum's life so comofrtable and happy.

My father (Boster) has been at Park View Care Centre for approx 3 months. The staff are amazing, he is well looked after, he is always clean-shaven and clean. The food is very good and mostly homemade. My father is treated with dignity and respect. The carers are very smiley and seem very happy in their work and it shines through. When I come to visit I'm always offered a cup of tea with my father and I can always eat with him in the restaurant. 10/10 my rating.

Excellent care given to my grandma. They look after her attentively, making sure she is safe at all times.

After a series of falls in her own flat, I managed to get a place for my mum in Park View Care Centre in October 2024. Right from the beginning, I felt mum was in a much safer environment. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very welcoming. There are many activities for the residents to join in with, should they wish to. The management and nursing staff are first class, although some of the night staffing provided by agency staff could be better. I would highly recommend Park View Care Centre.

On entering Park View, I'm greeted with a lovely smiling receptionist. Always a good morning/afternoon. The care staff are very friendly, even when short-staffed at weekends. The manager is always available to listen to the very occasional concern about Christine. Neil the maintenance man is extremely helpful. It's a warm friendly place, I'm relieved to find Park View are caring for Christine very well.
