After a series of falls in her own flat, I managed to get a place for my mum in Park View Care Centre in October 2024. Right from the beginning, I felt mum was in a much safer environment. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very welcoming. There are many activities for the residents to join in
with, should they wish to. The management and nursing staff are first class, although some of the night staffing provided by agency staff could be better. I would highly recommend Park View Care Centre.

On entering Park View, I'm greeted with a lovely smiling receptionist. Always a good morning/afternoon. The care staff are very friendly, even when short-staffed at weekends. The manager is always available to listen to the very occasional concern about Christine. Neil the maintenance man is
extremely helpful. It's a warm friendly place, I'm relieved to find Park View are caring for Christine very well.

My father was admitted on the 2nd Feb 2026. We always promised him we would never put him in a home but as soon as we saw the Park View Care Centre and met the staff we immediately knew it was the right thing to do to place him with you. Sadly he was only with you for just over 2 weeks until he
passed away but the love, care and respect you showed him was amazing. We can not thank you enough and anyone in the same position as us with a relative's nursing care should have no reservations in putting them into your care.

I visit my husband on a regular basis and always find the care that is being given to be first-class.

I am a friend of a resident and assist his wife in visits to the home. I have found the staff at all levels to be very helpful at all times, they are all very approachable at all times. Michael has been to the hospital several times during his stay, all dealt with great care, and his wife has been
kept informed always.

My wife was admitted for respite care and we were really struggling on how to cope with everything and leaving her in a new environment and not knowing anyone. I can honestly say that all the staff have been amazing and so caring towards my wife and helped her settle in really well. The manager has
been excellent at keeping us informed and helping us on such a difficult journey. He is always present on the unit and knows his residents really well. The activity staff are brilliant, organising games, music and crafts. Everyone from the catering staff, housekeeping, carers, admin team, maintenance men, and nurses are always cheerful and helpful. A special mention to the lady on reception who is always brilliant and cheerful.

We were residents for two weeks' respite. The overall experience was good. The staff including management was excellent. The paperwork associated with the stay was complicated.

The management pulled out all the stops to find a palliative bed for my father-in-law. He was in their care for only 5 weeks, but was treated with kindness, respect and dignity. Special thanks to the nursing team who were always on hand for a chat or to give advice. I would not hesitate to recommend
Park View for your loved ones.

My beautiful Mum with dementia was admitted to Park View in January for respite care and we didn't know how we would be able to walk away leaving her there and even walking through the door. I spoke to the Manager and he was absolutely amazing reassuring me that my mum would be safe and extremely
well cared for and loved, convincing me that I had done the right thing as I was feeling guilty and a failure and giving me tips on how to leave her without upsetting my mum.
I cannot praise him enough and have seen how he is constantly out and about around the unit making sure that the highest standard of care is maintained at all times, observing the staff and getting to know all the residents.I know that my mum has settled in really well and loves seeing him. The wonderful receptionist has been so caring and helpful to us all. Likewise all the activity and entertainment team are brilliant, the carers and housekeeping team are so cheerful and caring towards all the clients too.

The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. The unit very clean and the patients are well cared for. There is plenty of opportunity's for the patients to still be as independent as they can be and the support from the staff is fantastic. They run activities and keep the patients occupied well. I
am very pleased with the service they provide.

My mother was at Park View for over 4 years. Initially, the experience was not so good, and she had several falls, had to go to A&E, and this set her back. Management at the time was weak, but she was well cared for by the staff. There was a subsequent high turnover in the manager position, but this
stabilised and the current post holder is doing an excellent job. Throughout my mum's stay, the staff have been kind and loving. At the end, the experience was exceptional, and the kindness and support I received was overwhelming.

We are so pleased that we chose Park View Care Home for our brother's care. All of the staff are caring and seem to remember everyone's name. He always seemed to be very happy there, which was such a relief to us as a family. When he was on end-of-life care, we stayed with him constantly with lots
of family visiting. Everyone was so lovely, even offering us good food and drinks.

My wife has been a resident at Park View Care Centre for over a year. I am very pleased with the care and attention she has received in that time. The management, nursing and caring staff are very friendly and keep her amused. The food is excellent, just like home-cooked. Her room is regularly
cleaned and well-maintained. The room overlooks the garden, so she is able to watch the birds and squirrels foraging in the garden.

I cannot praise the staff enough at Ashford Park View Care Home. From the manager down to maintenance, cooks, cleaners, carers, office staff and entertainment crew, they all work so hard to make it a lovely home for the residents. My mother-in-law was happy there from the time she walked in the
door. Excellently run, and bright and airy.

Staff and management all interact with the residents, on an ongoing basis. Any points made, such as food, are considered, and have been improved as requested.

A wonderfully caring and supportive environment led by a truly committed and thoroughly professional manager whose high standards and expectations clearly permeate the whole home and its staff.
The improvement in my brother's mental and emotional wellbeing whilst at the centre was a joy to see. I
wouldn't hesitate to recommend it here - definitely a 'home that cares' rather than just a care home.

Most staff are great and the atmosphere is excellent. There is room for some improvement in the attitude and approach of some members of staff. My needs are very specific and initially some staff struggled - once they listened to me and followed my instructions things improved greatly.
