The staff were always friendly and welcoming. They treated mum with compassion and respect and took the time to get her back on her feet encouraging her to walk to the dining room.

My review, overall, is a good one. I have been accepted for care with dedication and real interest in my progress as regards my new hip.

As to activities and food - most of the time I have been struggling with a chest infection and could not take part or eat, however, I enjoyed doing a complicated jigsaw!

I have been thoroughly medicated and had a doctor to give an opinion. When I leave I shall have only good memories and will recommend Park View Care Centre.

My husband went to Park View Care Centre for end of life care. He had terminal cancer. The care he received was absolutely outstanding. The sensitivity and compassion of all the staff was very comforting for me. Their attention to detail was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. He was too ill to be cared for at home but Park View was the next best place for him. Thanks to the manager and all the staff for their care.

Every time I come into the care home I've been met by very pleasant, smiling staff that have always been willing to help me with enquiries. Nothing is too much for them. Going upstairs to the ward, the staff are always happy, chatty and very helpful if needed. They go over and beyond to help families and residents. I've been to activities and they are just brilliant for the residents and families. Well done Park View Care Centre.

Could not fault this care home, all staff so friendly and looked after my mother and visiting relatives and friends as if they were part of the family.

The staff were amazing, they really care about the residents and were always cheerful. The rooms are very comfortable and the food was excellent.

I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff who cared for Mum in the last four months of her long life. They were exceptionally kind and attentive, not only to her but also to us, which meant a lot.

My mother was admitted to Park View for end of life care and although sadly she was only there for four days, she loved her room and being able to relax in the pretty garden. The care she received from the staff was exemplary and we cannot have asked for a more comfortable and peaceful place for her. Everything was dealt with in a dignified and efficient manner. The staff also cared for us, her family, with the greatest respect and compassion in our time of great distress. It has helped us immensely to cope with our loss knowing that our mother was so wonderfully cared for.

From the moment I walked into this nursing home, I knew it would be one of the best because of the kindness, consideration and care I was shown and that was just as a visitor. A friendly and responsive home. Extremely high levels of outstanding professional trained nursing care for my friend along with compassion, gentleness and care from ALL the staff. I wish the call buzzer was a less shrill tone. Can this be looked at please? It bothered my friend.

I believe that the standard and provider do as good a job as they can given the very demanding and (at times) environment and also under a seemingly tight budget. Overall my nan is happy and content. Like anything there is always room for improvement however, I do feel that dialogue between family members, residents and care staff will help make those improvements.

All the staff were pleasant, helpful, cheerful and carried out their tasks with dignity.

We were made very welcome and given a choice of rooms. The staff were all very caring and ensured mum was comfortable. She was treated with dignity and respect. All the staff were compassionate in our hours of need and could not have been more professional and caring.

Mum's Altzheimers was getting more severe and we'd reached crisis point. We were given a number for Park View (30 miles away) and contacted them. Unfazed by mum's issues, they swiftly assessed her and immediately offered her a place. We visited and liked the purpose-built layout, the instant smiles from every member of staff and their professionalism. Mum remained there for around four months until we moved her closer to 'home'. Her care was exemplary; we certainly didn't move her because we were unhappy. Park View provides a very safe and warm environment. They quickly assessed how to approach her care needs (she can be difficult - no problem). She was very well fed and swiftly returned to a healthy weight, having previously been severely underweight. The changeover was handled wonderfully, even providing a carer to accompany us all to her new home. Thank you, Park View for everything - and for allowing her to pilfer a tumbler as a souvenir!

My mother is enjoying a period of respite care ar Park View and is very happy with her new surroundings. She has been helped to settle in smoothly and has a lovely room. I am particularly impressed with the activities and fun things she gets involved in. She loves the live music and dancing opportunities. I joined in with Pancake making with her which was great fun.

To start on arrival the house smelt normal which was a huge relief. The staff have been friendly and open from the start. The serving staff have generally been bubbly and friendly. I would like to see a regular programme of visits from a doctor to constantly review the pain levels and appropriate doses of medicine. The room is perfectly acceptable and as his taste buds have loosely gone, the food is good.

My aunt was in the home for several years and owing to her condition was not always the easiest person to care for but the staff were always kind and compassionate and always treated her with respect and dignity.
