I cannot say how well my mother-in-law has been cared for at Park View. The friendly and hard-working staff have cared for her extremely well. Their prompt action with my mother-in-law was excellent. The ambulance crew also praised their prompt action.

The care given to my father is excellent. The staff who care for him are kind, compassionate and treat him with dignity. He receives excellent care and food. He receives medication at precise times, as a result of all these factors he is in good health. Any issues raised regarding my father are dealt with promptly and satisfactorily.

I attend Park View Care Centre normally once a week to visit my elderly brother who suffers from dementia. I have found the service there friendly and helpful to myself and my brother. I have noticed an improvement over the past year in the service to my brother and in respect of my part in it as his next of kin.

My mother is self privately funded.
My mother is in the nursing wing with dementia since December 2016.
I moved her from another nursing home to be closer to me.
Mum settled in very well and is happy.
I visit her every two days at different times of day.

She appears to be well cared for.

I am pleased with the care received. I do wish mum could be offered more one to one care to keep her occupied in the day.

Over the years her role has changed and every role has had different things which Karen enjoys. 'A part of my role which I like is setting families minds at rest and that they have done what is best for a relative. The guilt people feel at placing loved ones in care can be huge! When they see their relative settled and happy it brings them a great deal of peace and it makes me feel proud that our team has helped them.'

When she is not at work Karen enjoys reading, she also loves ABBA and dancing. Most importantly, Karen loves spending time with her grand children who keep her very busy!
