My mum moved into Park View Care Centre at the beginning of the month and has settled incredibly well. The home had an instant warm and friendly atmosphere, the staff very welcoming and kind. She has been so well cared for, in a really organised and caring environment. I couldn't speak more highly of this lovely home.

I am pleased to give a favourable review of the care my wife receives. She is deteriorating with dementia, but is quite settled and at home in her environment. This tells me that her carers are looking after her well, otherwise she would be distressed which is not the case. I can leave her after my visits with peace of mind knowing that she is receiving the care she needs. At times it is demanding for the carers to deal with residents who have mental difficulties, I have witnessed how well the staff manage situations that can arise among the residents. So, I am pleased to give a five star rating on behalf of myself and my family who are all in agreement with my review.

My mother has been resident at Park View Care Centre since November 2022. The manager is very approachable and indeed encourages residents and relatives to let him know if if there are any problems. He is full of ideas and initiatives to make life in the home as pleasant as possible. All staff are caring, pleasant and friendly. We visit regularly, usually unannounced and always find mum to be clean, her room spotless and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. There is a very active team organising entertainment who are excellent at encouraging residents to join in.

I never cease to be amazed by the kindness and patience of the carers at Park View Care Centre. Six months of caring by myself for my wife exhausted me. These ladies do it day after day. Nothing seems to faze them, incontinence, ingratitude, they take it in their stride. We owe them a big debt of gratitude for shouldering the burden.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. We're truly touched by your appreciation and are honoured to care for your wife. I am very pleased with the care home: my sister is very happy there. Plenty of entertainment, hairdressers and plenty to do to keep her entertained. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are brilliant. We go in any time of the day, which is great for us.

My husband moved in on 30th July 2024. He got a decent size room with view of trees and park, which he loves. The staff are very professional and kind. I had very good contacts with the management. So far, the food has been satisfactory with some good days. My husband looks happy when I visit. He is kept clean and showered.

The frustrating part is the relationship with the surgery - nobody ever knows when the doctor is in. But overall, it has been a very positive experience.

My mother was a resident at Park View for around 12 weeks. I found the home to be perfect in every way. All staff were always helpful, and above all, respectful at all times. Unfortunately, Mother died in Park View from her illness, but I cannot imagine her being more comfortable and cared for in any other environment.
I really cannot thank the staff and carers enough for making a very difficult time as easy to cope with as possible.

I would highly recommend this home.

Staff have been so amazing looking after my nan. She was made so comfortable in her last few weeks and was provided amazing care.

Two members of staff in particular were so amazing in explaining and providing support for all the family. At the end they both were upset and cried which showed my family what this job really means to them. They are valuable to this care home.

Second time using Park View and my Dad seemed very settled, engaged and well looked after. He has dementia and is very isolated at home, but he had constant interaction with other residents and was able to sit outside in the sunshine which is his favourite pastime.

My mother has been in the care home for over 4 years. All the staff have been caring and supportive of my mother's needs and giving family support. Recently, circumstances have changed with my mother's health which has deteriorated and I appreciate all the help and support given by all members of staff from the kitchen to the general manager. Mum has been a resident at Park View since January 2024. The home is always clean and tidy with a very welcoming feel. I have nothing but praise for all the staff. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, but most importantly, the care Mum has received is outstanding. There are lots of activities to keep residents occupied. Events like Valentine's, Afternoon Tea and Mother's Day lunch allow families to still celebrate together. I am so pleased I chose Park View, as it is lovely to have peace of mind and to see Mum happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend Park View Care Centre.

The company is very helpful and kind and always welcome everyone, we know where we stand with our relative and always have the meeting and have a chat with the staff. My biggest regret was having my partner go here. I can't tell you how many safeguarding was raised. I lost count where I raised so many. It was a nightmare from start to finish. No one knew what the other one was doing. One incident of many I came to visit and my partners eye was swollen and closed. I went to find a nurse which said the doctor was still in the building and she would send him to have a look. When he came I said my partner has a eye infection he looked at my partner and said which eye. I just couldn't believe it my partners eye was very swollen you couldn't miss but see it. That was just one of many incidents, a lot which they couldn't explain especially when it came to bruising. If you're thinking of sending a loved one here please do your homework. I do know if I could have my choice again this place wouldn't be on my radar.
