Overall Experience

Having spent the last two months in hospital it is good to see my husband settled and comfortable in a lovely room and being well looked after by the staff. Unfortunatly he has numerous health problems and I appreciate the tenderness shown to him on what is a very difficult time.

My 96 year old mother was very well looked after. Her room was nicely decorated and well equipped. She arrived straight from hospital and even though it was late evening staff did everything they could to make her comfortable and help her settle in. She took part in an impressive array of activities which she really enjoyed. She had her hair done and her clothes were beautifully laundered. .

We visited every day and everyone made us feel very welcome. Communication was generally very good and care and compassion were shown during my mother's final illness.

Overall Experience

I am very happy living here and truly feels like home. The staff are kind, caring and treat me with respect. The foot is excellent with plenty of choice and I really enjoy my meals. There are lots of activities and I especially enjoy the trips out which I always look forward too. I have made some wonderful friends here and there is always someone to talk too and spend time with. The home has a warm and friendly atmosphere and would recommend it to anyone looking for care.

I would not recommend this care home to anyone. They are clearly understaffed and have the minimum amount of qualified staff working at any point. Any concerns raised were dismissed by the staff and particularly the management. I was told that the staff and nurses all had high medical knowledge which evidently is NOT the case, and if there is any need for the Doctor - I wouldn't even bother.. They are a business who will take your money gladly, but not give the care, respect and help that the residents need. I would urge anyone who is looking for a care home to look elsewhere. There are a few staff who were brilliant, but management were appalling and clearly unqualified to deal with complex cases. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Overall Experience

Brentwood Care Home is very welcoming and friendly. The lounge area is homely and lots of activities going on. All the staff are lovely and kind nothing is too much bother for them. My mum has been to the care home for respite several times and she loves going back there as everyone is so welcoming. Highly recommended!

I have been visiting this care home regularly over the last month and have had a positive experience every time. The staff are incredibly friendly 8. Caring; they always make residents and visitors feel welcomed, the amenities are fantastic, not only for residents but for visitors too. We are often offered food and drinks during our visits, which is a lovely touch. The foyer has a coffee machine available, and there is fresh cake baked daily for visitors, creating a warm and homely atmosphere.

Overall, it is a caring, comfortable & welcoming environment. That puts people first.

I am writing this review out of deep frustration and anger regarding the care my relative received at Queens Court Care Home. Families place enormous trust in care homes to protect vulnerable people, and sadly this home failed in its basic duty of care.

During our experience we witnessed unacceptable hygiene standards, with my relative left in soiled clothing for long periods and rooms not properly cleaned. We also faced poor communication from management, including unanswered concerns about unexplained injuries and a lack of transparency. Food and drinks were often left out of reach, contributing to dehydration and weight loss that could have been avoided.

When concerns were raised, management responded defensively rather than taking accountability or addressing the problems properly. The high staff turnover and lack of adequately trained carers were obvious throughout.

I would strongly urge families considering this home to look elsewhere. Basic dignity, safety, and quality care is lacking.

The care manager and all the staff are kind, professional and patient. They treat residents with utmost dignity, respect and genuine love. The home has always a welcoming homely atmosphere and is kept immaculately clean. Our relative loves daily activities, which range from music and some other entertainment. The catering is exceptional, with great daily menu choices. The staff knows what he likes.

My mother is a resident on tudor residential care department. She has been there.a month now and had a good experience.

The staff are friendly and look after my mum well. They have made an effort to get to know her and her family and my mum who us cognitavly fine but physically knackered, reports good care and nuce staff.

Queens Court care home.
Is a great place to place a love one.
The care is amazing .The care home is like a top hotel.
The resendents all look so happy. There is plenty of activities going on.
The variety of food is great.

Most of all the care they give to the residents is outstanding.

My Mum has been a Queens court for a number of years now, she currently resides in Tudor unit where she has settled well & now calls it home. I am sure my Mum look at Geeta & Marsha as daughters now & they are brilliant with her, making sure she always gets to joing in with anything that is going on, encourge her rather than insisting & this certainly seems to work. The whole of the Tudor team work brilliantly together & the whole home seems to work on the principle that a helping hand goes a long way & I have never seen a case of not my job, everyone I have ever met at the home is always more than willing to help.
Recenctly the entertainments manager had to leave for health reasons & although I beleive they are still looking for a new one (it will be hard to replace Liza) they have managed to put on funtions & entertainment for the residents & although it has been harder work for the staff they have coped admirable.

All in all a brilliant care home.

Staff are very friendly especially sue on reception, it seems a happy place for residents and staff. Really enjoyed watching the residents having a good sing song , all the old wartime songs . Think the staff do a really good job here as it can be a demanding job at times .
