Manton Heights Care Centre & ABI Centre

I chose Manton Heights home after visiting several other care homes in Bedford A friend of mine recommended the care provision here after her mother spent a couple of weeks in respite here. The staff here are amazing. My mother has advanced dementia and needed 24 hour care. We immediately felt very comfortable visiting at all hours and have really appreciated the support and empathy from everyone working here . It feels like a real home from home and this is down to the commitment and team work of everyone here. I can't thank you enough for making this difficult time in our lives so much easier to do.

We are very grateful for their support and would highly recommend this home.

Always a happy place to visit with carers second to none, staff fab, and staff on Sunday 7th just came to Pauline's party. Melissa and all staff. Food delicious. Everyone so good, kind and helpful.

Treated with care & respect, assistance with washing/showering/dressing when needed. Excellent & varied activities led by amazing staff. Nothing too much trouble for any member of staff. Only interaction with management was day of & day before leaving.

Fantastic staff. Catering staff excellent in every way.

Summer fete was a huge success - staff made a real effort to ensure everyone was included - people from local community joined in and were made to feel welcome. Well done all.

Mellisa did a lovely birthday bash for my dear Pauline. Lovely staff and carers. Everything was perfect. The staff are so attentive and care for all your needs. A credit to you all.

The staff have worked very hard to make a very happy pleasant day for Pauline and her guests. The food was outsanding, so congratulations to the kitchen staff. It's very hard to say anyone particularly as perfect because all the staff were brilliant.

When I entered the care home for the first time, I noticed it had no smell and everywhere looked very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The activities lady was very friendly and invited everyone to join in. My wife said the food was good with alternatives available. My wife enjoyed her short stay in the home.

I visited my friend and I stayed with her while the music entertainment was on. It was good fun and enjoyable. The staff are excellant and truly kind and caring. My friend enjoyed it too.

I honestly can't praise Manton Heights enough for the care, love and support they have all showed my Nan during her 3 month respite stay. The change in my Nan has been immense, all the staff go above and beyond and Melissa the active coordinator deserves a special shout out. She is absolutely perfect at what she does and each day I visit all the residents are happy and seem to be enjoying their day which is very telling. I wish she could stay there as a permanent resident but unfortunately due to funding we couldn't keep Nan there, but I will never forget what this home has done and the huge impact it's had on my Nan and myself.

I've just moved my mum in, and the team are just incredible, so happy to have moved here, thanks for the warm welcome, this place is amazing! The place is big, bright, and so peaceful outside. There are lots of great facilities.

Went on Tuesday it was National Italy Day. Great music and a bit of dancing. Great fun. Had pasta and Tirramasu for lunch, yum. On Saturday, got back at 3 when Biingo was starting. My mum's Pam won a line she enjoyed that, then on Sunday had her nails manicured and painted and loves them.

I still can't quite find the words to express my gratitude. Following my emergency spinal surgery, I was left unable to stand, walk, or move my lower limbs. But after three months of dedicated rehabilitation, I proudly walked out the doors. A massive thank you to the care and physiotherapy team for your love, support, and tireless efforts on my journey. You helped me take steps I never thought were possible, and I will never forget what you've done for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lots of love, Cookie/Mukesh x

I visited my friend, and she was taking part in a singalong group in the lounge upstairs. It was called 'The Sunshine Choir'. which I thought was such a lovely name. The lady who was leading it was so kind and caring with the residents, speaking to them all as individuals and really brightening their day, and I felt bringing hope and brightness to their lives. She describes them all as a family, and there really was that feel to it. They were singing along to a keyboard, and it was played amazingly and professionally.

We loved the Easter Party! Thank you to the entertainment team.

Had a lovely afternoon again at Manton Heights, thanks to the activities team, Aran, Sian and Melissa, who consistently made a difference to the lives of the residents at Manton.
