The Old Rectory Care Home recently enjoyed a wonderful flower arranging session that brought joy, colour, and creativity into our home. Residents gathered together to explore beautiful seasonal blooms, choosing their favourite colours and arranging them into stunning displays for everyone to enjoy. The room was filled with smiles, gentle conversation, and the fresh, calming scent of flowers. Activities like this not only brighten our environment, but also offer valuable wellbeing benefits encouraging creativity, boosting fine motor skills, and gently stimulating the mind through touch, colour, and fragrance. It was truly lovely to see everyone so engaged, focused, and happy, sharing ideas and admiring each other’s creations. Moments like these highlight just how powerful hands-on activities can be for confidence, connection, and inspiration. We can’t wait for our next floral afternoon at The Old Rectory..
