Stanborough Lodge Care Home hosted its first community event on October 7, welcoming Mayor Clir Lynn Chesterman, and other guests. A demonstration of Sound Bath Therapy, which uses gentle vibrations from instruments such as crystal bowls and chimes. The therapy is shown to support emotional and cognitive wellbeing and is particularly beneficial for those living with dementia, with reported effects including reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and enhanced memory and mood.
