Several team members at Tennyson Wharf Care Home in Burton Waters have been nominated in multiple categories in the Lincolnshire Cares Awards. General Manager Sarah Noutch for Manager of the year, Karen Holmes for Administrator of the year, Rebecca Harrowing for Activities coordinator of the year and Aimee Hill for the Rising Star award. All nominees will attend an interview process before a panel of judges with the shortlisted attending an awards ceremony in March 2026
The Lincolnshire Care Awards celebrate staff who go the extra mile for the benefit of residents living in the Lincolnshire region. Categories range from ‘Registered Nurse of the Year’ and ‘Carer of the Year’ to ‘Dementia Care Champion’ and ‘Activities Coordinator of the Year’.
Hundreds of nominations were received from homes, hospitals and support agencies across the region. Peter Painter, Resident Representative who nominated the team members provided 300-word essays on each of the nominees stating that he is delighted to have nominated Tennyson Wharf staff who he feels are ‘second to none’ in their dedication and care.
General Manager, Sarah Noutch, said: “This is an amazing achievement to have 4 members proceed to interview stage. We thank Peter for his hard work and thoughtful words in his nominations, we hope we do him proud.
