Orchard Blythe Enjoys Luxurious Limousine Experience and Afternoon Tea

Orchard Blythe Care Home, part of Runwood Homes Group, is delighted to share the success of a recent special outing that left residents feeling truly cherished. On 12 November 2025, four residents were treated like royalty as they enjoyed a chauffeured limousine ride followed by an elegant afternoon tea at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens.

The experience was made possible thanks to the generosity of local business Franklin & Hawkins Funeral Directors, who provided the limousine and chauffeur, Jason. The idea came from Orchard Blythe Senior Administrator Lesley, who approached her husband Jason to see whether his company might support the home with a memorable outing. Owners Andy and Gary embraced the suggestion immediately, offering their full support.

The lucky residents were greeted with complimentary Prosecco and chocolates upon entering the limousine. During the drive through the local countryside, they enjoyed a specially curated soundtrack featuring their favourite songs, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with excitement, joy, and anticipation. Their journey concluded with a beautifully presented afternoon tea at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens, hosted by Mariusz.
