My mother has unfortunately had to reside in a care home for the first time. The staff have been brilliant. They are available, comforting and understanding to Mom's needs. I would recommend this care home.

Cannot fault the home or the staff. They 100% take care of the person whom we visit. They nearly always phone me to say that he has returned from the hospital when admitted, they always telephone me when he is admitted. My resident loves it at Orchard Blythe and is well looked after. No issues.

Pleased with the lovely clean home. My uncle's room is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. They are approachable and answer any queries I’ve had. Happy with the care given. A variety of activities throughout the week. The meals look lovely. Thank you for caring for my precious uncle.

Very welcoming. Dad was upset when I went there, mentioned it to the staff, going to play a game with him. Dad likes to be occupied, but they try to do that when they can.

Visited Mum this morning; she was in the lounge having her breakfast. Weetabix ad toast was freshly made. Helped her eat it. Staff kept a fresh supply of tea coming.

Overall happy with the care provided for our mom. Manager and staff are approachable in relation to any niggles we have and put plans in place to rectify and assure us Mom receives the best care possible.
The home is clean, staff are committed to making the resident feel comfortable, and activities
are in place to support positive well-being. Nice meals.

Mom enjoys all the staff's attention and company, except the night staff, who never paid much attention.
The food and menu were always an issue, either cold or poor choice, who decides to do chicken curry in a home?

My dad has been in Orchard Blythe since April 2023. From day one the staff have been absolutely brilliant not only with Dad but with myself too - they were (and still are) an enormous support when Dad first went in and I was struggling with the emotional side of things. Staff are friendly, respectful,
helpful, efficient and just generally go the extra mile to make the residents feel ‘at home’ and treat them like they are family. I couldn’t ask for any more when I see the relationships that they have built with Dad over the last few months. The home is spotless and the food nourishing with plenty of variety.

Very impressed with the professional and friendly service from all the staff. The layout is open, bright and cheerful. Everywhere was very clean and tidy including the resident's rooms.
The food is plentiful and nourishing, and they are flexible with choice.
There is plenty of activities and entertainment
for the residents.
There seems to be plenty of one-to-one care throughout.

My mother has been at Orchard Blythe for several years and I have found that she has been treated well. Covid has caused considerable strain on the staff they have coped admirably. Hopefully, we can soon return to normal visiting.

Hayley Ford

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2005

I have been involved in care since the age of 16. My career began at Caldwell Grange in 1983, where I worked until I was 21, leaving briefly after the birth of my first son. I continued my journey in the care sector, supporting both elderly individuals and those with learning disabilities throughout the district.


I dedicated 33 years to Warwickshire County Council until the homes were transferred to Runwood Homes in 2013. For the past 20 years, I’ve proudly served as the Manager at Orchard Blythe, part of the Runwood Homes group. Throughout my career, my focus has always been on delivering high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring our residents are at the heart of everything we do.


I have consistently worked hard to achieve strong CQC outcomes. At our last inspection, we were rated ‘Good’ in four areas and received an ‘Outstanding’ in Well-Led, something I am incredibly proud of. My goal at Orchard Blythe is to maintain or even exceed these standards.


On a personal note, I have two grown-up children. My son, now 37, is a Sergeant in the Royal Marines and has served since the age of 18. My daughter, aged 34, is a Team Leader at a fibre optics company. I am also a proud grandparent to two grandchildren, aged 13 and 6.

Lisa Morgan

I’m Lisa Morgan, and I’ve been a cook for the past 28 years. I truly love my job and enjoy interacting with the residents, often being the first to dress up and get involved in activities. I take great pride in creating a positive atmosphere and engaging with everyone in the home.


In my spare time, I’ve learnt to knit, enjoy walking with my dog, and listen to music. I find these activities relaxing and fulfilling outside of my busy role.

I joined Orchard Blythe in 2017 as a Finance Administrator, bringing with me over 30 years of experience in administration. With a background in nursing and occupational therapy, I offer a unique perspective that allows me to connect deeply with both staff and residents.


Before joining Orchard Blythe, I worked as an occupational therapist in an older people’s setting, where I developed a passion for improving the quality of life for seniors. In my current role as Finance Administrator, I manage the day-to-day financial operations of the home, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.


My responsibilities include liaising with families, managing contracts, overseeing budgets, and coordinating financial reporting.


In addition to my administrative duties, I enjoy participating in activities with the residents, fostering a sense of community and connection. I believe that engaging with residents is essential in creating a warm and welcoming environment.
