Our nana turned 100 this July and we cannot thank Frank Foster Care Home enough for everything the did for her. She had the most fantastic day from start to finish, she was treated like a queen. The home also arranged a wonderful party for her with a beautiful birthday cake made for her, buffett and a singer, it was a perfect afternoon for her. She said she had never felt to special.

Thank you.

Review of Low Furlong from E K (Daughter of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

The care and support that Low Furlong offers my father is outstanding. There is always a friendly welcome from any carer on either floor. Even the chef regularly says hello! There are various activities that support my father's mental health and physical wellbeing. The staff are engaging and highly committed to supporting their residents. From the management team, including the Aimee, administrative personnel plus senior carers and cleaners everyone makes you feel welcome. Thank you and you deserve an outstanding CQC award.

Review of Leawood Manor from A B (Daughter of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

The care home is always very clean even the individual bedrooms. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they greet us with a smile on every visit. I have experienced a few other care homes and I believe Leawood Manor is the best one for my relative. They are going the extra mile to try and deal with the relatives anxieties and melt downs. I am also impressed that the care home send out weekly emails with information and all the activities they doing during the week. The online discussions about Dementia and other conditions are useful to know and we intend to attend one of these in the very near future. Thank you Leawood and especially the senior staff for a being an outstanding care home!

Review of Stafford Hall Residential Care Home from L J (Son of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Finding the right care home for a loved one is never easy, but Stafford Hall has exceeded our expectations. It feels much more like a home than an institution, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff are always friendly, helpful and genuinely caring. They take the time to get to know each resident, and it's reassuring to know my dad is so well looked after.
The home provides a great range of activities, including days out and entertainment within the home, helping residents stay active and engaged.
My dad doesn't have dementia and is cognitively very capable. The staff recognise this and interact with him accordingly, treating him as an individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

We're very grateful for the kindness and care shown by everyone at Stafford Hall and would happily recommend it to others.

Review of Park View from A G (Sister of Resident) published on 31 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

We live 250 miles away from Park View so rely on the management, staff and carers to be our 'eyes and ears'. On our last visit, we prebooked lunch privately in the conservatory and we were all treated like royalty. Just a hand on my brother's shoulder from his dedicated carer was so reassuring and confirms our confidence in the care he receives. We spoke to the manager to discuss an overview of my brother's health and welfare, and she knew every detail of his status without looking at any of his records. Again, that instils great confidence in the way in which he is looked after. My brother is immaculately dressed, clean and perfectly well groomed. He tells me he is happy, well cared for and wants for nothing. Thank you to a wonderful, caring team.

Reply from Alex Sanders, Home Manager at Park View

Review of Park View from B G (Sister of Resident) published on 31 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My brother has been a resident since May and the care staff have been really supportive. They are easy to contact and all the staff seem to be kept up to date with any problems or issues that my brother might have. When telephoning the home everyone has been helpful and staff ensure that I am kept up to date with events. It was reassuring that my brother was invited to go on their minibus trips and that his birthday was celebrated even though he'd only been there a couple of weeks.

Reply from Alex Sanders, Home Manager at Park View

Initially I was quite concerned about my sister in law going into a Care Home as it happened very quickly. My concerns were soon overcome once I met with the Manager, Deputy Manager and saw how the care home operated. It took a few weeks for her to settle in but we're delighted to say she seems quite settled and happy at Leatherland Lodge now.
What is quite unique about this care home is they have an Entertainments Manager who goes to a lot of trouble to organise daily mental and physical exercises for those that want to join in. Plus during public holidays like Easter, Christmas, Wimbledon and the World Cup the care home is decorated to help the residents feel involved and for those that want to watch events on the tv, seating around screens is organised.

Families are also encouraged to interact with residents and where mobility isn't an issue, with prior approval, family can take them out for a couple days of hours.

Review of Park View from Terry B (Husband of Resident) published on 31 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My wife, who has Alzheimers Dementia, moved into Park View last November. My daughters and I viewed many Care Homes', but, from the first minute, Park View stood out from the rest. The cleanliness and security of the home, the friendliness of the staff, the activities arranged and the welcoming of the senior staff, were all first class. Since my wife moved in, our first impressions have been proved correct.
Alex, the manager, operates an open door policy and has always found time to listen to any concerns or questions we have had about my wife's care. Her attitude and helpfulness to the residents is mirrored in her staff who always show care, respect and patience to my wife even when she has one of her infrequent non compliant days.

I am forever thankful that we were able to arrange for my wife to move into Park View. Generally she is very happy. contented and involved in the activities and I have no worries as to her welfare, as I know she is receiving first class care and attention.

Review of Leawood Manor from Jill H (Friend of Resident) published on 30 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My 90-year old friend who has dementia has been resident at Leawood Manor for 3 years. Her quality of life improved significantly when she moved in. The care and support she receives is maintaining the same standard of wellbeing. The dementia awareness sessions which Leawood Manor provides for family and friends has given helpful insight on how we can work together to keep my friend in a happy frame of mind.
The staff are caring and kind . The facilities are clean and comfortable and the food is excellent, with stringent attention to dietary needs.
Since the new Manager came last year, there has been increased focus on staff training and on regular communication with friends and family. This results in any issues being picked up and resolved quickly. It is noticeable that many of the staff have become more confident under the new leadership and this has created a happy and homely atmosphere.

In my view, Leawood Manor has always been Very Good, but now it is Excellent.

Review of Wisden Court from Leanne K (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 29 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I cannot thank everyone at the care home enough for the wonderful care they give my grandma. She is genuinely so happy there, which gives our whole family such peace of mind.

She absolutely loves taking part in all of the activities, always tells us how much she enjoys the food, and her room is always spotless and beautifully looked after. It's clear that the staff take great pride in everything they do.

What really makes this place special is the team. They treat my grandma with such kindness, patience and respect, and they have become like family to her. Knowing she is so well cared for and surrounded by people who genuinely care means the world to us.

Thank you to every member of staff for everything you do. You make such a positive difference to the lives of your residents and their families. We couldn't ask for a better place for our grandma.
