Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We are so proud of Westwood Care Home for the fantastic care they gave to mum and to us. Everyone went above and beyond and got mum & us through some very difficult times with such grace & compassion. They treated us like family and we shall never ever forget them. Every department has the upmost respect
for each resident and the families. We entrusted our lovely mum into their care after a lot of soul searching but need not have worried as she was in the best possible safe hands.
The facilities and the activities that were made available were absolutely brilliant and this was ever present in all the lovely smiles on the residents faces when they went to them. Each member of staff knew every single resident by their name and always extremely kind, caring, compassionate and respectful to all the residents ensuring that they are all happy and the staff always had a smile on their face. All the staff was so very helpful to us & guided us through each stage. We can't thank you enoughx

Father is not the easiest of resident with continual moaning, complaining about staff, and refusing to do as staff ask. I have been impressed at how the staff have handled various situations in what is already a stressful situation.
Management are good at keeping me informed about situations and also
after GP visits. There is a noticeable improvement in communications over the last month between the care home and relatives of residents.
Reply from Hira Butt, Home Manager at Leawood ManorThank you for taking the time to share your honest and thoughtful feedback.
We understand that your father can sometimes find things challenging, and we really appreciate your recognition of the patience, professionalism, and compassion shown by our staff when supporting him, Supporting residents with complex needs is something we take very seriously, and your comments will mean a great deal to the team.
I am also pleased to hear that you feel well informed by management, particularly following GP visits, and that you have noticed an improvement in communication with relatives over the past month. Keeping families updated and involved is a key priority for us, and it is reassuring to know that these improvements are being felt.
Thank you again for your trust and for acknowledging the efforts of the team.

My mum has always been treated with the utmost respect and care. Staff are all very courteous and patient. Her room is always clean and tidy. Trips out in minibus are always varied and mum enjoys them immensely, pleased they are starting again. Meals are varied and look very good. Perhaps they could
have a theme eg, Indian or Greek occasionally (understand they need to cater for all residents) though.
Reply from Hira Butt, Home Manager at Leawood ManorThank you very much for your lovely and detailed review.
We are delighted to hear that your mum is always treated with respect and care, and that you find our staff courteous, patient, and supportive. It is also reassuring to know that her room is consistently clean and tidy, as maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment is very important to us.
Were so pleased that your mum enjoys the minibus outings and that these are starting again providing varied and meaningful experiences is something we value greatly. Its also encouraging to hear your positive feedback about the meals. Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion regarding themed meal days; this is a great idea and something we can certainly explore while continuing to cater for everyones needs and preferences.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback and for your continued trust in our team

Words cannot describe how AMAZING this care home is! I was so worried about the process of moving my Mother into 24hr care but after just 2 weeks she is comfortable and settled. I have found all the staff, management and facilities to be truly wonderful. Mum has settled in so quickly due to the one
to one care provided and the kindness of staff. I highly recommend Park View - I feel so lucky to have found it xx

Myself and 3 mothers visited our friend. We were greeted by the staff, and we were invited to use a kitchen/dining room so we could have a tea party with our friend. The staff popped in to ensure we were happy, they were extremely kind and helpful and made our visit most enjoyable.

My father has been attending Highview Daycentre for many years now. He was diagnosed with dementia. Upon attending the centre 6 days a week since he first went, has improved his wellbeing. Everyone gives 100% in care & attention. Staff & the Transport drivers go over & beyond. I do not know what I would
have done without the centre providing such a level of service. This has enabled me a lot of freedom and a stress free life . I can not thank them enough for all they do. An absolute gem of a place!!!
