My Mother Maureen has been a resident at Tallis house for 1 year, and I have to say the care and standard of hygiene is impressive. My mother settled very quickly and the link on social media allows us to see her happy and content. Activities are arranged on a weekly basis, and the staff are always
on hand to help and assist residents in a caring manner.
Reply from Georgina Braithewaite, Manager at Tallis HouseThank you for your kind review. We're delighted to hear that your mother has settled in so well and that you're pleased with the standards of care and hygiene within the home.

My mum arrived not very good shape. The manager Georgina is excellent as is Grace, Ludmilla, Gibben, Debbie and Catherine.. to name but a few. Most of the staff are very helpful and seem to like my mum. She looks alot better now thanks to the help of so many at Tallis. My mum is definately happier and
that says it all. The team try hard to keep the residents safe and occupied (thank you Events) Also the cleanliness is so much better than Ive previously seen...
I would definitely recommend Yallis House.
Thank you Georgina and your Team for working hard and committing to your job! It shows!

I have always been dealt with professionally on telephone or face-to-face. I receive updates on activities and have certainly been in home on occasions and sat and listened or involved ie singing 1960's music, and aiming a ball trough a net, colouring and cards. The staff are always on duty and area
is covered at all times. The staff are very caring whilst placing patients in wheelchairs, getting them out of their armchairs and chatting to them. I am very pleased that when I was offered this home, I could not have wished for anything better for my aunt.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The actual care provided by the staff is excellent and very attentive. The home is kept very clean & pleasant in appearance. A wide variety of activities is provided by the home for the residents, although my mother doesn't participate in them. The food is okay. The cost of the care is expensive and
in hard times, a rise of 5.3% was excessive.

My husband suffers with dementia. He has been in residential care at Stafford Hall for the last few months. We as a family are very pleased with the care he has received, the staff are so kind and have got to know him so well.
Stafford Hall is bright, cheerful, clean and welcoming. It is very
homely. After having visited a couple of other Homes we are so happy that we chose Stafford Hall - definitely a good choice.

Leawood Manor

from Lorraine S (Daughter of Resident) published on 1 May 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
My mother spent 2 weeks at Leawood Manor for respite having been discharged from hospital after having a fall. Sadly, the only room available was on the upper floor, usually designated for those suffering from dementia. Although this did not affect the care she received, I think she would have been
more at ease on the ground floor. This aside, the care, the facilities and the staff are second to none. And if necessary, I know she would be more than happy to return (on the ground floor)

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum has been a resident of Chelmunds Court since December 2023. As an experienced registered nurse I am looking for high standards of care from the pre admission contact onward Mums care has been superb - consistently gold standard. The motivation, professionalism and attention to detail of the management
team is reflected in the staff. In an industry that is often mediocre Chelmunds Court is an outstanding example of how tryly individualised care should be delivered. The ethos of care includes amazing emotional support with staff noticing and interacting with residents who are distressed or just 'feeling low' spending time to talk and calm them. This support also extends to families as I have gratefully experienced.

My father is looked after as we would expect. All staff are very helpful & respectful & treat dad with dignity. Staff always have smiley faces and have a good rapport with management & likewise management with staff. I couldn't wish for dad to be in a happier secure environment.

I can't recommend this Orchard Blythe highly enough. from the moment we first visited, the staff made us feel welcome reassured. They treat residents with genuine kindness, patience and respect. it's cleare they take great pride in providing high-quality care. the home is clean, comfortable and
inviting. Activities for the residents are great with a wide variety of outings provided. Most importantly, my mother is happy, well supported and healthier than prior to moving to Orchard Blythe which gives her family peace of mind.
Thank you to all the staff.

The home has had a number of managers over a relative short period, Lorraine the new manager and she's already made decision that are beneficial to the residents, more importantly I actually believe things will now settle, she has many plans for more improvements, if head office gives her support to
make the changes, I wish her every success more over she's at Longview so we can see these improvements come to fruition.
Reply from Lorraine Taylor, Manager at LongviewThank you for your kind and encouraging words. It really means a lot to me and the whole team to hear that the changes we're making are being noticed and positively received.

I understand that the home has experienced a number of changes recently, and one of my main priorities is to bring stability, consistency, and a clear sense of direction for both residents and staff. I'm committed to building a warm, supportive environment where everyone feels valued and at home.

We do have several plans in place to continue improving the service, and I'm working closely with head office to ensure we can bring these ideas to life. It's important to me that these improvements are meaningful and make a genuine difference to the daily lives of our residents.

Thank you again for your support and well wishes-it's greatly appreciated, and I look forward to sharing our progress with you over time.

My father has been at Brewster House for nearly seven weeks. He has found it slightly difficult to adapt which is to be expected. all of the staff have been very kind and have looked after him and all of his needs very well, so he is not so anxious thanks for this.
He finds the food on the whole ok,
although he wishes for different choices for the evening tea to be available.
His room is kept clean and tidy with his laundry frequently collected and returned in a timely manner.
I really do think that all the staff led by the Management team try their very best to set a high standard.
Reply from Alin Cuciureanu, Home Manager at Brewster HouseThank you for your kind feedback. We're pleased to hear your father is settling in and that our team has been able to support him.

I have been so pleased with the excellent care my mum has received since she was admitted to Carolyne House. She is well cared for, stimulated and enjoys regular trips out and daily activities to keep her body and mind active and engaged. All the staff are happy and caring. Always welcoming visitors
as well as being very kind and patient with the residents in their care. I could not have wished for a better place for my mum to stay. Mum and the family are very happy with her care.
