Mum has been a resident on Cherry floor now for just over 15 months and we are really pleased with how she has been looked after and cared for. The staff are friendly, caring, helpful and always approachable to talk to about mum. She entered the home at a weight of five and half stone and having lost the enthusiasm for life, but with the staffs help and caring is now back to her original healthy weight and enjoys some of the daily activities which are put on. We would highly recommend the home to anyone who's relative is in need of full time care and like to thank all the staff at Alexandra House for their hard work and patience.

My Dad spent the last 5 months of his life in Alexandra House I cannot express how grateful we are to the amazing team who looked after him he was treated with kindness and compassion and he was happy : He was very poorly when he arrived dad had spent a long time in hospital and was very unsettled and upset, but within a couple of weeks he was a different person happy and laughing we had not seen that in a long time and I know that was down to the lovely staff so Thank you all for your kindness and care.

I began my journey at Alexandra House as a care assistant in 2012 and have worked my way up through various roles to become Deputy Manager.
